Also me, forgetting to post for over two full months: ...;-; oopsie

Yeah, I'm a professional >.< I appreciate all the comments you guys have been leaving in my absence though. Like the people arguing about nintendo vs sega in the earlier chapters? And all the people who decided to read the recent chapters during school and cry? The people who comment on every chapter as they read? I love all of you so much. Belated happy holidays, and a glorious new year to all, so let's start off right, shall we?

"All you have to do is write your wish on a tag," the small creature stated. It was mostly white, with a yellow star shape over its head and green slips of paper attached to it. Its pair of glittering black eyes shone with endless wisdom and strength even though it also looked incredibly tired. "Then, it will come true."

Luna froze as she studied the Pokemon, recognizing it not long after with a gasp.

"You're... the mythical Pokemon, Jirachi!" She realized. "But I thought you just woke up a few years ago when you met my brother Ash... Wait, Alpha?"

The legendary only shook its head. "Not important right now, my dear. I don't have much time; getting the Millennium Comet to reappear only five years after its last showing was hard enough work for Dialga and Palkia. If you wish to return to your old life, you have to write your wish."

"But... how is this possible? I died... Yet I've been able to sense things ever since. Same goes for Lunalox here." Dialga and Palkia? As in, the legendary Pokemon rumored to be behind the creation of time and space!? Are the legendaries of this world really helping me out? I thought Salem was the sole exception...

"Best for you not to worry about such things just yet, my dear. After causing such a stir in the world, it was only natural for us legendaries to step in before your journey could end prematurely... just don't tell the others that we like to pick favorites, hehe. Though, I guess you won't remember any of this if you do decide to return," Jirachi mused.

Luna paused. I won't remember, huh...? But I have to go back... There's still so much I haven't done, and wrongs that I need to right... "...Okay. I'll do it. Are you ready to go home, Lunalox?"

The majestic, winged canine dipped its head in agreement.

"It's lucky that so many Pokemon have already shed their tears for you, or else this would be a much harder feat," Jirachi told them while lowering its head for Luna to reach. "Although they cannot bring the dead back to life, they can preserve the spirit. Divine intervention can return the spirit and revive the body. It's a secret kept under wraps for sure, but I'm surprised that you yourself didn't know, young Luna. After all, Lord Alpha himself had to step in to save your brother... Not to mention the few times Ho-Oh has been called upon to bring a fallen child back to life after disaster... Oops. I've said too much, hehe. I suppose that doesn't really matter."
