A Vacation, an Adventure, and the Story of a Lifetime

Character Contest!! (Not a chapter but closed now!)

Alright alright, over 220 reads!? 12 votes!? It's about high time I do something for you guys. So, from now (September 17) until October 1, anyone (yes, you too!) can submit their character to appear in one of the later chapters!

I've been writing a lot for this story, and I'll likely continued to do so, while remaining on my consistent update schedule of one chapter per three days. Therefore, the two winners I choose will be announced when chapter 20 is released on the first of October. It might take quite a while for them to appear, seeing as I'm already up to writing chapter 30 and I won't be stopping any time soon, but I'll be sure to include them eventually, maybe even multiple times!

Personality: Luna is bubbly, determined, and a quick-thinker. She loves all Pokemon and is open to trying new things. She's usually optimistic and excitable, ready to give it her all. Although she strives to be the best, often pushing herself a little too hard, Luna will always make time and energy for people she loves.

Occupation: current champion of Kanto-Kalos, Pokemon trainer, student at the Pokemon School

Relationship status: single pringle

Backstory: She was born in Pallet town, being raised there by her mother and father, as well as her older half-brothers, Red and Ash. When she was young, she was playing outside while her mom tended to the house, when she saw a Butterfree and chased it into the forest. When she finally lost interest, she realized she was lost and began to cry. A wandering Mew found her and took her to the closest family: a mother Eevee and her children. Once Luna's mother found her, she allowed the Eevee family to come along as thanks for keeping her safe. They settled in, becoming a second family to her. Her little sister, named Cloudy, was born not much later, and they grew up living a good life. By the time she was old enough to leave for her Pokemon journey, her Eevee mother mysteriously died, and the oldest of the Eevee siblings, Raven, evolved into her strange form. They set off, swearing they'd make their mother proud, and they did: becoming champion of the first six regions they traveled to, leaving behind new Pokemon they caught to defend their title. Their other big accomplishment was finding new mega evolutions: one for each eeveelution, and their bonds grew so tight they were also able to achieve Synchro-Evolution, much like Ash and his Greninja. Once she returned home, her mother revealed she bought the two of them a vacation to Alola to commemorate all Luna's achievements. There, she met Ash and his friends, deciding to stay at the tropical island while her mother and sister temporarily moved into their vacation house with her to learn about regional forms, new pokemon and cultures, and Z-moves. They attend the Pokemon School, and it's Luna's goal to become a Pokemon Master, completing the Pokedex and becoming Champion of every region. She also wishes to visit the Galar region once she's through with Alola.

Hometown: Pallet Town, Kanto

Anything else: Upon using Synchro/Mega/Z-move, she was turned into a new kind of Pokemon due to how close her mind, heart, and soul became with her Pokemon. She is able to switch between human form (though she retains the ears, tail, and wings of her Pokemon form) and full Pokemon form. She can also learn any move her Pokemon can, as long as they have used Synchro-Mega Evolution with her before. This has enabled her to understand Pokemon speech, and she has enhanced senses.

The only restraints on information for characters is be rational: since Luna is already the champion in the story, no other character can be, sorry. :P Also, please no team of six shiny rayquazas, there's only one of each legendary Pokemon in the world, beside things like Type: Null and others with multiple confirmed individuals. Beside that, go wild! The more unique, the better!

Part Pokemon? Sure! A regular human? Splendid! Related to a canon character? As long as it fits the story, why not!? Dating a canon character (besides Kiawe, Kukui, etc.)? Alright, sweet! Shiny? Heck yeah! Not shiny? Also heck yeah! Legendary? Awesome! Non-legendary? Awesome! Fully evolved? Cool! Not fully evolved/baby Pokemon? Amazing! Starters? Love them! Eeveelutions? Best friends for Luna's Pokemon :D!!! A new Gym Leader? Lit! Performer, baker, artist, musician, trainer, teacher, scientist, writer, parent, student, craftsman, athlete, or any other job? Wonderful!

The point is, your character is yours, so it shouldn't need to be majorly altered just to be in the story! This is a place for everyone, so I wish you all luck!
