Happy February everybody, and thanks a bazillion for the continued support. Every day the amount of reads and votes goes up, and I appreciate every comment! A lot has happened on Luna's adventure so far, but it's not done yet! We still have quite a bit more to cover before I can call this work a finished one! Without further ado, chapter 49, everyone!

That morning was Friday, the last day before the weekend, and two days before her official press conference- and her brunch with James. What really unsettled her was Alain- she had seen no trace of the male since they battled, and she ran off after her loss.
The last thing she needed was him already spilling the story of how he bested her in a match, not that it would count as him being Champion. Those battles required full teams, as well as certified referees, and usually an audience. Even so, it would certainly tarnish her reputation if it was to get out she lost to the runner-up Kalos challenger.
Either way, she had been keeping up with the news, and hadn't seen anything of the sorts about her, and if it really was published, it would definitely be on every news channel out there.
So that morning she got up and made breakfast, sitting with her mom, sister, and Pokemon siblings, as well as Lunalox, just as usual. Raven was nowhere to be seen, but the motherly Espeon was never consistent in showing up to meals.
She's probably just having a bad morning, those do happen to the best of us, she rationed. "Alright, who's up for school tomorrow with me, Cloudy, Lunalox, I assume Midnight?"
Surprisingly, Snow Queen, Thunderclap, and Elise all raised their hands. Henri gave a sheepish smile before pointing to the DVD player, which had a good dozen cases of discs piled atop it, while Torch and Poseidon hardly looked awake and Amber was busy with growing flowers in one of their many vases.
"Hmm, I didn't expect that, but sure! You three are welcome to join us, I think the Professor mentioned going down to the beach again! We can work on training Lunalox and my moves!" She decided, with said canine Pokemon already trying to walk out the door and Midnight beaming at her usually-homebound siblings.
"{Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go!}" The shiny Umbreon exclaimed, with Luna translating.
Cloudy nodded, putting her cleaned plate and orange juice glass in the sink and giving her mother a quick hug before opening the front door. "Sounds like a plan to me!"
The seven made their way to the school and once again went down to the beach, where Lana's Popplio began showing off its bubbles. That is until Rowlet and it got trapped in one and flew away.
Luckily, Midnight and Thunderclap were able to chase after it, finding a Litten on the way, and apparently having a mishap with Team Rocket. The yellow Pokemon just zapped them and went on his way, though, and everyone was very grateful.
Snow Queen and Luna started practicing their moves, thanks to the cool ocean breeze diminishing the harsh warmth. "{We haven't practiced in a while, how are your moves coming along?}"
"Oh yeah! I'm getting the hang of them, see!" The brunette exclaimed, blasting a full-power Blizzard at her sister, who had to spit out a mouthful of snow, which had also covered most of the ground. "Awesome Blizzard, right?"
The next thing they knew, Luna and Snow Queen were in a pile of snow. "{What happened!?}" Snow Queen cried as she quickly dug them out. "{Where did that- oh...}"
Lunalox was guiltily standing there with a line of frost on her snout. "{I wanna'did use Bizzerd jus like Luna! So... I covered you in sno...}"
Upon hearing the small Pokemon's explanation, Luna could only smile. "It's alright, Lunalox! That was really strong! And now you know five moves!"
The spiritually-diminished Pokemon's eyes brightened and she began hopping around Snow Queen. "{I learnded I new move, yay!}"
"Heads up!" Cloudy shouted. Luna didn't have time to even look over before Midnight Psychic'd herself into the air, Thunderclap used Magnet Rise and grabbed Snow Queen by her scruff off the ground, and Lunalox had used her wings to float into the air. Elise immediately used Moonblast, shattering the bone that shot up from the ground (that had been coming toward Luna) before the girl shifted to Pokemon form and used Dark Pulse to break through the other.
The silver-haired girl and a navy blue masked anthropomorphic canine ran over.
"Sorry, we were training and this guy's Bone Rush went the wrong direction!" She apologized, while her Pokemon bowed in regret.
Luna shifted back to human form and returned to the ground. "Judi! It's been so long, how've you been?" She asked the Lucario while her Pokemon also landed back on the sand.
"{Luna? Cloudy mentioned you had changed since we last met, but I did not know you had become a Pokemon not unlike the one beside you. I'm very sorry my Bone Rush almost hit you, though I can see your team's reflexes are still on point.}"
"It's no biggie, I think you just helped us with something important! Ground-Type moves can't hit Flying-Types or Pokemon using Magnet Rise, and since Lunalox instantly evaded that Bone Rush... I think we were right to assume Lunalox is part Flying-Type since she didn't use Magnet Ri-" She said, but then, since the canine hatchling had seen Thunderclap demonstrate Magnet Rise and Luna had said it, she was now levitating. "Okay, now she knows how to do that, too."
"{May as well tell her to use Psychic, Moonblast, and Dark Pulse while you're at it,}" Midnight sighed.
Cloudy and her Lucario watched as Luna ordered her youngest Pokemon to use the same moves her brother and sisters had demonstrated, and Lunalox did not disappoint. She was able to unleash a telekinetic burst whilst simultaneously levitating Snow Queen, Thunderclap, Elise, and Midnight out of the way.
Then, a shining pink-tinted moon appeared above them, which Lunalox sent flying into the ocean where it exploded into multicolored sparkles. Finally, they were drowned out by the wave of darkness that covered them. "It took me days to make a good Dark Pulse, and she can just do it instantly...," the brunette sighed. "I'm really proud of you though, now you know nine moves!"
"Nein!"
