Luna stood panting for another moment, wanting to be sure of her narrow victory, before collapsing on the sand. The piles of tiny particles felt like pillows on the world's most luxurious bed, and she almost considered taking a short nap before dismissing the thought.

She and Gleam had fought for at least half an hour more, Lunalox practicing her accuracy all the same, before the shiny Gardevoir slipped mid-Psychic and Luna managed to hit her with a luckily-well-timed Dark Pulse. After that, Gleam made it clear she was no longer in any state to battle.

After a few moments of blissful motionlessness, lying against the sand- the only sound was her siblings and other Pokemon all training, kicking up sand or pounding against the earth. Luna slowly got back up, noticing the moon had crossed quite a bit across the sky, before turning her head to seem who was closest that'd be able to help Gleam; Luna still didn't know any healing moves except what little energy she regained from Bouncy Bubble.

Noticing Poseidon, having long finished his own spar with Nightshade- the shiny Greninja had wandered off somewhere- sitting on the damp sand as the calm waves brought the water up to him and back, Luna called out. She tried to be wary of the others, who she did not want to alarm, so it came out as a hiss. "Poseidon! Can you c'mere a sec?"

The Vaporeon looked up from his seat, nodding as he stood up and made his way over to them. "{Sure, what's up?}"

"Gleam and my battle ended with the both of us exhausted, and she can barely move. Think you could give her a hand- paw slash fin- with something like Aqua Ring or Wish?"

"{Mmm,}" was the Water-Type's only response, already summoning a small hoop of water to speed up the recovery process. Gleam gave both Luna and Poseidon a thankful smile before the brown-furred Pokegirl stepped away to let her brother work his magic.

A little ways away, Lunalox was lying down with her head on her paws, about fifty rocks all covering the sand target that had been made. Apparently she knew how to summon them, but not what to do with them when she was finished, and had finally given up once the target was no longer visible. However, from the multitude of dents on the rocks near the center, it seemed she had improved.

"Hey Lu," Luna greeted her youngest Pokemon, dipping her head. "Nice work with all those Rock Throws. Now... let's see what we can do about cleaning them up. I still don't think you're ready for your strongest move, but practicing other moves, specifically Flying-Type moves, would probably help a lot..."

"{A good smack o' air could slice the boulders!}" Lunalox exclaimed, perking up once more. "{Turn them to sand!}"

"Yep. Now, try using a weaker version of you move from before, take all that air and form it into something more reasonable. Like an Air Slash, for example..."

Time continued to pass- it felt like it was flying by to the group, working hard on the sandy shore- and soon, Poseidon had fully healed Gleam, who in turned used Life Dew to revitalize the both of them.

As Luna was coaching Lunalox on how to control her newly-learned Air Slash, despite not knowing the move herself, the shiny Gardevoir looked on; Poseidon stuck around because he didn't have anything better to do, and felt leaving would just feel awkward.

"{We should probably head home soon, don't you think?}" Gleam asked him quietly, resting her head on her hands. "{It's got to be approaching midnight, if not past it already, and everyone needs to get plenty of rest after these long workouts.}"

"{Yeah, you've got a point. Want me to go round up the others?}" The Vaporeon asked, flexing his webbed claws in the sand. "{Raven's all for self-care, so I'm sure she'll get on board. And no one questions Raven's authority.}" Gleam nodded, so he headed off, collecting his brethren and their other teammates.

When he returned with the full gang, Luna was dusting the sand off her as she shifted back into human form, glad her clothes had been for the most part spared from their long routine. She huffed, muttering something about "leaving when there's still plenty of moonlight to burn" before settling in formation.

The trek home was more challenging then on the way there, considering everyone had worked themselves to the edge of their limits, but it served a good reminder that they were getting stronger and that they needed to remain in shape. Plus, it helped their muscles get one last workout as they wound down for the night.

By the time their cottage came into view, Luna breathed a sigh of relief and began to slow down, finally coming to a stop at the porch. She grinned, wiped the sweat from her brow, and led her Pokemon inside, checking the clock to reveal 1:32 am.

"Oh shoot! I have to get up in a few hours for school! Sleep well everybody, but I'm tuning out for the night!" She exclaimed, already jogging toward her room to change into pajamas.

While most of the Pokemon made themselves at home on the couch or lounge chairs, the Eeveelutions all followed her- they were running out of furniture with all the Pokemon living under one roof.

As Luna collapsed on her mattress, Midnight and Lunalox jumped up beside her, the former lying above her head on the pillow while Lunalox curled up on her lap. Henri nuzzled up to her upper stomach, while the others found their own places sprawled over the rest of the bed.

Finally, as the brunette was already drifting off, albeit still mumbling about loving the comforts of falling asleep on a warm bed, Gleam quietly walked in. She eyed the scene with warmth before taking a seat in the rocking chair across the room and shutting her eyes.
