Had a lovely day catching up on the MHA manga and spending time with my younger siblings, hope you all are doing well also!

(Another thing: if I may shamelessly promote my other work, my MHA-based fic Colors in the Dark is in full swing! What started out as a passion project for my own satisfaction has become a (somewhat niche) story that's got a bit of recognition, which I'm especially grateful for, and would be elated if you all wanted to check it out, too! Original quirks and conflicts present with more to come!)

Without further ado, here's the next chapter!

When they got back to the house, Luna immediately noticed Amber outside, chatting happily with Gleam. The shiny Gardevoir listened intently, gently resting on the sunlit grass beside them. She was the first to notice them, eyes locking with Luna's as she descended.

"I," Luna huffed triumphantly, "won!" As soon as she got close to the ground, Midnight jumped out of her paws and landed smoothly, her winged sister doing the same- much less gracefully- a moment later. Luna shifted from Pokemon form as she let her bag drop to the ground and collapsed onto the grass.

Lunalox touched down a moment later, a little surprised she was outsped even though Luna had been carrying a heavy bag and an Umbreon the same size and weight as her. "{How... You were faster than me... How?}"

"That's a little thing called training, Lunalox. Training with a capital T; Fox-family style!" The brunette pumped a fist into the air, still a little out of breath.

The celestial canine only cocked her head in confusion, but didn't say anything more as Amber bounded over to them, Gleam levitating not far behind. As the shiny Leafeon leapt into her older sister's arms, Luna letting out a surprised 'oof' as the wind was knocked out of her before wrapping her in a hug.

After regaining her breath, she stood up, letting Amber down to look eye-to-eye with Gleam. The shiny Gardevoir seemed more timid than she had in years, a painful reminder than Luna had more or less abandoned her while she went on her vacation.

Slowly, she reached out to grasp her hand. "I missed you guys, and I'm sorry I left you at the leagues. I should have called you back sooner. Please... let's go back to being friends, and partners."

"{Luna mentioned doing an old-fashioned training session this evening,}" Midnight added. "{Everyone could use a refresher on what kind of strength it takes to keep running when your body's screaming to stop, to practice your battle moves until you nearly collapse. Plus, it'll introduce Lunalox to our tightly-wound family and our traditions!}"

Gleam's delicate, white-gloved fingers tightened against Luna's skin. She used to be quite pale, but her time in Alola and the sun had given her a nice tan, which was even more apparent against the light coloring of the shiny Gardevoir's palms. "{Oh Luna,}" she spoke softly, "{You're growing up so fast, into such a wonderful young woman. Yes, I'd love to--be honored to--join in your family run.}"

Luna gave the Psychic- and Fairy-Type a wide smile, shaking her hand as if they had just met. "I'm glad." She then let go and took a step back, shifting into Pokemon form again before grabbing her bag with her teeth (again!) and beginning to lug it towards the house, adding a muffled, "Be rewedy! Seben o'clobnk! I'ma go let the othwersknow!"

Now, as if full of new life, Luna ran toward the house, skidding to a stop as she reached the door, just to stand up on her back paws for a moment to flick the doorknob and open it up, barreling through the house a moment later.

Every one of her Pokemon she saw, she let them know they'd be doing a training session, and it seemed like everyone was pumped up, though not as she was. After learning she could use Pokemon moves and then taking a small break from using them, she was refreshed and ready to keep learning new ones. And, since she was able to Synchro-Mega with a few of her other Pokemon, she knew her potential could only grow.
