Anyway, tons of big news:
First, the bad: updates for this story are going to be slowing to once chapter per four days, effective immediately.
HOWEVER! Do not panic, as that means I can focus on putting more quality into chapters, and make more in the long run for you to enjoy!
This is because (if you didn't already read my announcement) *drum roll please...*
I published the prologue and first two chapters of my brand new BNHA (Boku No Hero Academia) fanfic today, titled Colors in the Dark! It's about a young orphan, Ayami, who never got the proper care for her quirk (that's what someone's unique superpower is called), and because of this, is constantly at the crossroads of danger and surprises. But by the time she's living on her own and once again catches the media's attention as a vigilante, the Pros running a certain hero school decide the young heroine deserves a second chance.
If you want something to read while you wait for new chapters of A Vacation... (this story), I recommend going to check it out! Updates will be about every two weeks, but each chapter will be about 4000 words (4x longer than these chapters!) so the rate for both stories will be around the same.
Anyways, enough dawdling! Luna has an island trial to complete, a battle to fight against Totem Gumshoos! Let's get right into it!

Raven immediately volunteered for herself and Henri to sit out, much to the Eevee's protests. Midnight seemed eager to, but knew in her heart the others deserved a chance to fight, as she had gotten to a lot lately, so she took to standing on the sidelines. Poseidon and Elise both joined her, leaving four choices for Luna to pick.
"Okay... Thunderclap and Snow Queen, we're up," Luna said, choosing two partners for the battle.
"{Why only two of us?}" Thunderclap asked. "{Surely you don't mean...}"
The girl flashed them a grin before morphing into her Pokemon form. "I'd never give up on my first real chance at battling!"
Gumshoos nodded. "{Alright. Come, my ally!}" Suddenly, a Yungoos burst from the back entrance of the cavern, joining in for the battle.
"{You never said you were bringing a partner!}" Snow Queen exclaimed before falling into a battle stance. "{Anyway, let's do this thing.}"
"You two, let's go for DNS! In formation!" Luna exclaimed. They had a variety of strategies when fighting important battles in groups of two or more, which they practiced so any mix and matchup would work. DNS stood for Dash N Slash, where the fastest team member attacked quickly and evaded attacks while the others used more powerful moves from the side. It was great in this form, as Thunderclap was extremely fast and could keep Totem Gumshoos occupied while Snow Queen and Luna kept Yungoos at bay and attacked Gumshoos from a safe distance.
