Another candidate for one of the most wholesome chapters in this story. It's good to have the gang back together <3

While Luna and her team were catching up and trying to figure out a way to locate the rest of her family, their problem solved itself when they showed up and walked inside. Aurora, Evangeline, Cloudy, Moon, and all the Eeveelutions returned, having brought Ash, the kids from the Pokemon School, Professor Kukui, and even Kahuna Hala to see the miracle for themselves.

More tear-filled greetings and pleasantries were explained, but everyone was waiting on Luna's explanation, and she was pleased to tell them that she was provided answers earlier that day.

"The Island Guardians showed up while I was sleeping and told me everything. They found out a way to combine their strength with a special technique and bring me and Lunalox back from the dead, but it's something that can only be used every one thousand years... I guess they really took a liking to me, so I can't let them down. I'm also feeling much better, so once the news it out and I can return to school, I want to continue my training and island challenge," she told them.

"That's awesome news!" Ash exclaimed. "We can't wait to have you back."

"{Ditto!}" Pikachu exclaimed, though most of the people there heard, "Pika! Pika-chuuu!"

"You wouldn't believe how sad and worried we were hearing that you were gone," Lillie said. Snowy nuzzled her side a moment later.

Kiawe nodded. "Everyone was heartbroken. We're glad you're okay, and I know the Tapus made the right decision bringing you back."

"Not to mention all the chaos that's been going on in the world," Kahuna Hala said. "Young Luna, the final move you used that burned your strength has caused many alarming changes in Alola and the world, it seems. I've been seeing Ultra Wormholes appear, and Pokemon growing to incredible sizes, even bigger than Totem Pokemon. There have even been a few Pokemon spotted with different types than before, and that's not mentioning the young people who also share Pokemon traits revealing themselves from the shadows."

"Many of my friends and fellow Professors are also involved," Kukui told them. "It's called the Luna Project, and people have been investigating and fundraising in your name. It's quite incredible what the community has already discovered. I'm sure they'd be surprised to hear that you're back."

Luna's jaw dropped. "That's crazy... I definitely need to check all that out. But first, we need to break the news about me actually being alive, and then I have a few things I need to do first: mainly, checking on the wild Pokemon who were involved in the raid."

"They're being taken care of at the Aether Foundation's rehabilitation center, but I'm sure they'd welcome the visitors and extra hands," Aurora told her daughter. "I let your grandfather and cousins know that you were okay, too."

"That's good... Huh, I haven't seen them in a while. Anyways, yes, I'd love to go see them. The Hydreigon I was captured with, and all the other Pokemon there, I owe them an apology," Luna murmured.

Cloudy grinned and gave her big sister another hug. "Did you hear the news? Team Rocket has finally disbanded! And many of the other evil teams are backing off, too. The Luna Project has helped a lot. Finally, you don't have to worry about those criminals anymore!"

"And they reinstated your Champion status in honor of your death," Moon added. "Now that you're back, you could probably keep them, if you want."

"I gave up my position because I wanted to spend time with my family, but if Lunalox's and my move caused global changes like you said... I feel responsible for these developments. I might have to return to the spotlight to investigate everything that's happening when the time comes," Luna considered. "I might not be as strong as I was before, but my ability to battle shouldn't have wavered any, especially now that Lunalox and I aren't spending our energy helping Mama. By the way," she added to her moms, "the Tapus said you two will separate soon, so you don't have to worry about always being connected like that."

Aurora and Evangeline exchanged a glance. "Fine with me," the former laughed. "Still, I wasn't complaining."

"It's nice to have a friend you can rely on always at your side," Evangeline agreed.

"Most of you probably know by now, but that's my Eevee mom, who helped raise me, and is the mother of these guys," Luna summarized, pointing around at her Eeveelution siblings. "Though I guess she's not really an Eevee anymore..."

"She's more of an Eevangeleon, if you get what I mean," Moon said with a wink.

Luna giggled. "Good one, Moon." From the looks of things, her twin had been accepted back into the family even better than she had expected- maybe Luna's death had reminded everyone to treasure those close to them and forgive one another for old grudges.

"Just let us know when you want to come back to school, Luna," Kukui told her after the laughter died down. "You're welcome back anytime."

"Will do, Professor. Once the news is out, I'll be sure to come back." She looked around at the group, unable to hold back a smile. I'm just so glad... That we're all back here okay. When I was trapped with Team Rocket, I wasn't sure we would make it out. We spent weeks trapped in that place, injured and desperate. Now, finally, that chapter of our lives has come to a close, and we're free to begin a brand new one...

A few days later, Luna was painting a sunrise on the living room wall. Some of her Pokemon were helping, like Poseidon who was rinsing paintbrushes, while others sat back on the couch and watched. The bright, pastel blues, yellows, pinks, and purples blended together like a reverse starry night, light pouring over the clouds and the scene of an island far beneath.

She was pretty much on house arrest until the public knew that she and Lunalox had come back to life, so she had taken to lightening up the house while she waited. Each day, between art sessions or meal making, Luna spent multiple hours trying to improve her strength, but it felt as though she might never make it back to her former glory.

Her body was at least starting regaining its old form, her arms not as bony and ribs not quite so visible when she wore her old favorite cropped tops. Luna made sure to eat plenty and drink a lot of water, keeping her Pokemon on a similar diet. She would've felt bad for her mom having to make so many store trips if she didn't have Moon, Cloudy, and some of the kids from the Pokemon School as helpers, and plenty of money from Luna's Champion earnings.

Wiping sweat from her brow and setting her brush and palette down, Luna stood back to admire the painting. "Looks pretty good, wouldn't you guys agree?"

"{Totally! It looks so real!}" Amber exclaimed.

Snow Queen crossed her paws on the couch. "{The clouds could use a bit more work.}"

Thunderclap gave the Glaceon a shove. "{Stop being such a Debby downer, SQ, or else I'll get Blitz and Blaze on your case.}"

The aforementioned Charizard and Blaziken duo held their hands up. "{We never agreed to that!}"

Luna rolled her eyes, faintly smiling. Like nothing happened at all. I really missed everyone, and I'm glad we can return to normal, soon. I wonder if Mom called Sina and Dexio yet...
