Chapter 67- Ash's Rematch!

Welp, now that that's over, it's time for the rematches with Tapu Koko, starting with Ash!

When Luna got to school the next day, she learned that Ash had gone to Sophocles' house to learn more about Electric-Types so that he might be able to defeat Tapu Koko the next time they met, thanks to Kiawe prompting the question.

Apparently they just now figured out Ash did good with physical workouts, which Luna could have told them just from knowing the boy, considering she did the same thing on a near-daily basis. At least most of her classmates weren't surprised.

"Guess what? We've got a great plan for Tapu Koko!" Ash exclaimed with his hands on his hips. "What do you say, buddy?" He asked as he looked back at Pikachu and Togedemaru, the latter rubbing the former with its spiky sides. "uh... it's not a good time."

Luna, along with her classmates, chuckled at that.

Then, however, Luna's fox-like ears twitched, and she turned toward the door, hearing some faint but familiar sounds. Her classmates continued speaking for a moment, drowning out the sound, but whenever they paused, she would hear it again, getting closer each time.

"You hear that, girl?" She whispered to Lunalox, who had the same perked ears as her. The Pokemon nodded. After a few moments more of listening, Pikachu and Togedemaru also went strangely quiet, like they were also listening. "You two also hear it?"

The two Electric-Types nodded before running outside. A moment later, Luna felt a surge of electric energy and turned to follow them, Lunalox, Midnight, and Gleam hot on her heels. (She already introduced the shiny Gardevoir to her classmates, much to the awkward dismay of the timid fairy.)

"Hey, where are you all going!?" Ash shouted at them. A moment later he, the other Pokemon, and their classmates all followed them outside as well.

Luna ran alongside her Pokemon and Pikachu as they left the building, all sensing the legendary energy radiating from outside. When they finally made it into the sunlight and looked up, their suspicions were confirmed. Tapu Koko was descending from the sky toward them.

"Uh, Ash, I think you wanna see this!" Luna shouted back at her brother, who appeared a few moments later. "Tapu Koko... what are you doing here?"

"TAPU KOKO!" Ash exclaimed as soon as he saw the Pokemon.

"Wow, in the flesh!" Rotom Dex added.

The rest of their classmates added their own shocked commentary, most of which was speculation and/or surprise until Kiawe spoke.

"You know why it connected specifically with Pikachu and Luna's team. To challenge them to rematches."

Cloudy was practically dancing, stepping from tip-toe to tip-toe in excitement. "I missed both their first battles with the Island Guardian, and this is my first time seeing it up close! Hi Tapu Koko, and good luck in your battles, Big Bro and Big Sis!"
