        "Don't insult our theme! Do you know how long it took to come up with that!?" The long, dark-pink-haired woman yelled.

        "Team Rocket? Can they really take flight?" Rotom Dex's mechanical voice asked.

        Jessie seemed infuriated by his question. "We blast off, you dope!!" She then quickly realized she was arguing with a machine and calmed down, forcefully. "I mean, we don't fly."

        James, the man with the short pale bluish-purple hair, and Meowth looked ready to give them a whole spiel about Team Rocket's all-powerfulness, but Luna cut them off. "Haven't seen you four in a while. Are you really still trying to steal Pikachu and my Eeveelutions?"

        "Shut your trap, twerpette! Our business is none of yours!" Jessie growled.

        "I'm confused. Who are these guys? I've never heard of a Team Rocket before!" Mallow said.

        "Not me," Kiawe added.

        Lillie adjusted the large hat she had slipped on. "Neither have I."

        Ash turned around momentarily. "They're bad guys who like to steal other people's Pokemon!"

        "The real Team Rocket is worse, these are just a group of grunts who don't know what they're doing. James is okay if you get to know him, but sometimes he puts his crime work over everything else," Luna muttered with a hurt look in her eyes.

        "{Quit your pathetic human drama already! That Pikachu's life is as good as gone!}" Mimikyu screeched, but no one except the Pokemon and Luna seemed to notice.

        "They steal?" Mallow recoiled, horrified.

        Sophocles glared at them. "If they steal Pokemon, then they're good-for-nothing thieves!"

        Nodding in agreement, Ash turned back to Jessie, James, and their traveling companions. "You've come to the Alola region to do more bad things, haven't you!?"

        "Same as always, kid. I don't know why you're here, but I'm tired of all your twerpy faces! Especially you! You've even got twerpy cat ears and wings and a tail now!" Jessie responded. Meowth tried tugging on her leg, but she knocked him away. "Not now, Meowth!"

        The Pokemon seemed upset by Mimikyu's constant dark words, but put up a brave front. "Pikachu might have bested me in the past, but I'll be the one who comes out on top today!" He reared up to perform Fury Swipes, but Pikachu prevented taking damage with an Electro Ball.

        Luckily for Meowth, Mimikyu shot a Shadow Ball at the electric orb, shattering it before it slammed into him. "{I'm not done teaching you a lesson, dirty rodent! I'll crush you like the filthy rat you are!}"

        Meowth suddenly didn't seem to hear or care about its creepy words. "Mimikyu, you came through like a champ! Thanks for saving me, pal!"

        "Call me crazy," Jessie mused, "but I get the feeling Mimikyu is trying to help us out!"

        "{Only because we share a goal: get rid of that damned Pikachu! I'll work with you as long as it means we get to destroy it!}"

        Meowth recoiled, but he seemed a bit less scared. "Woah, Mimikyu wants to help us out instead of the chumps!"

        "So I'm sane!?" Jessie asked hopefully.

        "Pfft, I wouldn't go that far!" Luna cackled. "Mimikyu only wants to help you because it despises Pikachu, which my brother has. It could care less about anything else."

        The pinkette glared at Luna. "I wasn't talking to you! Anyways, it's all good as long as we're on the same side, so go ahead and attack them, Mimikyu!"

        With a wave, Midnight and Torch were in front of their sister, who shifted into her Pokemon form. "You're really starting to test me now. Midnight, Protect the others from Mimikyu's attacks! Torch, let's blow them back with our fire!"

        With a nod, both her and her Pokemon sprung into action. The Umbreon bared her fangs before using Protect, deflecting Mimikyu's Shadow Ball from hitting Pikachu or any of the students.

        "Woohoo! Go, Luna!" Lana cried with the volume of a timid Butterfree.

        "Look at her. She and her Pokemon have such a raw control over their abilities," Kiawe added, watching in awe as Luna and her Flareon used Will-O-Wisp and Fire Blast together to make a powerful attack, driving Team Rocket back.

        Before they could command Mimikyu, Meowth, or Wobbuffet, a huge Pokemon sauntered out of the woods and lifted Team Rocket up, including their new Mimikyu. "{Put me down you fat oaf! Let me kill this damn Pikachu!}"

        The Pokemon, Bewear, seemed quite unfazed by the Ghost-Type's dialogue, instead carrying them off into the woods. No matter what they protested, the Pokemon wouldn't set them down.

        "Nice seeing you again Lunaaaaaaaaa!" James' cry could be heard, while said girl only shook her head, returning to mostly-human form.

        "Good battling, Middy, Torch, Pikachu. I'm just glad that Bewear lifted them off before things could get ugly. That Mimikyu was saying some pretty dark stuff, and it seemed pretty strong."

        Sighing, Kukui looked his students over. "Me too, Luna. Even if we weren't able to catch that Mimikyu, there are many other kinds of Pokemon in the wild that we can look for."

        "The Professor is right! Let's keep going, we've got tons of chances!" Lillie answered, looking determinedly forward, scouting for another creature.

        "The probability of finding a Pokemon in this forest has increased to 96.5%!" Rotom Dex exclaimed as they began exploring again. The others giggled, becoming more hopeful on what they might find. No evil Mimikyus and evil teams for them!
