Luna waved her hands when she saw her friends from school arrive. They were in Iki Town, where a few tables with tons of food had been set up and balloons and streamers decorated the totem poles. Hala, Professor Kukui, Ash, Rotom Dex, Officer Jenny, Cloudy, herself, and all their Pokemon had already been there waiting.

Mallow was the first to notice them, getting the other's attention turned towards her. "Hey, Luna! Congrats on beating the grand trial!" The greenette exclaimed, placing a small gift on the table beside her before going off to find food. Lillie was beside her, who gave a small smile before being pulled away.

Kiawe gave her a nod of approval before striking up a conversation with Cloudy, while Lana and Sophocles both came to talk to Luna herself. "I can't believe you beat Kahuna Hala just a day after making the newspaper for getting rid of all those Rattata and Raticate!" The blond boy exclaimed.

"I made the news!?!?" Luna yelped. "Holy Miltank! Officer Jenny gave me a plaque, but I didn't know I was in the paper!!"

Lana smiled, Popplio beside her bwarking happily. "Yeah, you're already pretty popular around here!"

Sophocles nudged Luna's arm. "Kiawe and your sister seem pretty close, eh?"

The girl broke into laughter. "Finally someone else sees it!!" They high-fived loudly, both giggling.

"What's so funny, sis?" Cloudy asked, walking over with the Fire-Type specialist beside her. Luna wiping her eyes, made a 'admit nothing' gesture to Sophocles by covering his mouth by the tip of her tail behind her back.

"Sophocles just said something funny is all, don't worry about it." Kiawe raised an eyebrow, but neither pressed the girl anymore. Relieved their little joke wouldn't be spoiled, Luna removed her tail from Sophocles face.

As the two walked away to go talk to Ash, Mallow, and Lillie, Lana looked back at them questioningly. Before the blond boy could protest at getting tail fur in his mouth thank to Luna shutting him up, she asked, "Lana, can you keep the secret?"

"Hmm? I think so, but what is it?" The blue-haired girl responded, with Popplio looking up from Poseidon and Midnight.

"{Secret? Can I know, too?}" The Pokemon bwarked.

"Alright, I'll tell you both. Sophocles and I were talking about how Cloudy and Kiawe seemed to be hitting things off a little too well for just a friendship," Luna whispered.

Lana put a ringer to her chin. "So you think they're already best friends?"

Sophocles, Luna, and her two present Eeveelutions facepalmed. "No, like... more than best friends. Like boyfriend-girlfriend kind of friend."

She made an 'o' shape with her mouth. "That would make more sense. Isn't Cloudy much younger than him, though?"

"She's thirteen, so it's only a three year difference. A bit weird at this age, but they talk to each other all the time and she seems to get all flustered whenever we talk about them," Luna explained.

The bluette's face turned to a playful evil grin. "Then the ship is in the harbor, ready to be set sail, it seems!!"

"Aww yeah, you know it! Sophocles, there's three of us now!" The three put their hands together to make a sort of group signature, with the younger (and shorter) boy having to stand on his tip toes to reach. "What's the ship called?"

"Kiawdy (would be pronounced Key-ow-dee)? Cloudwe (Cloud-way)?" He suggested.

"That's not my name. What are you three up to?" Kiawe's voice from behind them made all three jump.

Luna spun around to face him, Cloudy luckily not at his side for once. "Jeez, Kiawe, can you announce your presence any less out-of-the-blue?"

"I just came to tell you that Kahuna Hala wanted everyone to gather around for the gift ceremony. You are the guest of honor after all," he stated coolly.

Taking a deep breath to settle her racing heart, she and her friends and siblings made their way to the central table. Most people were already there, with plates of food and cups with punch inside.

Professor Kukui was talking to Luna's mom, but stopped when he noticed her. "Hey there! Hurry over, it's Present time."

Luna smiled before stepping toward the table, the other guests moving to create a sort of pathway so she could be in the front. There were a little under a dozen gifts, all to celebrate her!

She took the first one, a medium-sized box-shaped gift, and undid the wrapping paper. There was, predictably, a box inside. Luna removed the top part of it to see a treasure-chest-like container. When she opened it, there were three-dimentional diamond-shaped divots inside, each labeled beneath in fine gold print.

"Is this a Z-Crystal holder?" She asked, adoring the gift. "I love it! Now I'll finally have a safe and organized place to keep them!"

Kiawe gave her a small smile. "You finally proved your worth by defeating the Kahuna, so I thought you deserved a place to put all your crystals."

"Thanks Kiawe!" She exclaimed, slipping her Darkinium/Forbidium Z into the correct holder before placing the chest gently into the front picket of her backpack. The next gift was a much larger and flimsier box, with a beautiful pink ribbon on the top.

She removed the ribbon and draped it over Thunderclap, who did not at all appreciate the gesture. She reached in the long, thin box and pulled out the gift. It was a short white dress with golden shorts to go underneath, with a small handwritten card.

"'You've only been in Alola for a few weeks, but you've already helped me in getting the confidence to take care of the Pokemon egg, and you're a very nice girl. I hope the dress fits you, I picked it out myself! From, Lillie,'" Luna read, with the blonde girl's face going fifty shades of red. "Aww, that was so nice, I love it! Thank you, Lillie!"

Folding the outfit and setting it back in the box, she placed it beside her on the table. "Alright, whose gift should I open next?"
