"The waiting's over!" Mallow exclaimed with a piping hot pot in her hands. The next day, after she and Ash had apparently gone off in search for new nectar and Bounsweet evolved into Steenee, as well as Team Rocket planning an attack on them- Luna was still upset they left her out of the fun; she would have cut James a new one if she caught him after her brother again- when the green-haired girl invited them back to try her recipe again. "The real legendary Alolan stew is finally served!"

The rest of the class gasped; it smelled a lot less like lightning, so hopefully it'd live up to its namesake! Steenee hopped around to deliver people's plates, and she dropped them off by Lana and Ash. "{Bon appetite!}"

"Looks great! Thanks Steenee," Ash told the Grass-type.

"Thanks a lot," Lana added softly.

"Looks like Steenee's having more fun helping out now that it evolved," Lillie commented, with a chuckled from Mallow.

Said Pokemon laughed and nodded, Pikachu adding, "{Sure is!}"

"{Mhmm!}" Rowlet cooed.

Mallow stretched her arms out wide. "Dig in everyone!"

"All set Mallow!" Luna joined in on the chant. "Let's go!" All the kids took a bite at once.

Luna's mouth was in heaven. She practically froze from how amazing the dish was, lost in the complex taste. After a moment of anticipated silence, Mallow tensed up. "How... is it?"

"Delicious!"

The green-haired girl and Steenee both jumped up. "Yay!"

Luna began scarfing it down as soon as she finished her first bite, not caring how un-lady-like she seemed, doing exactly the same as Kiawe and Sophocles. She just couldn't get enough of the amazing taste!

"The tingly aftertaste is so good!" Lillie exclaimed while dabbing at her mouth with a pink napkin. She, Cloudy, Lana, and Ash were eating much more civilized.

"It's legendary yummy!" Lana declared with a shy smile.

Luna was the first to hold her empty plate, but the others weren't far behind her. "Seconds please!"

"It's really good, Mallow!" Ash assured her with a ravenous but kind grin.

"Yeah! A huge difference from last time," Kiawe added thoughtfully.

"Though I thought the other was good, too," Sophocles laughed.

Cloudy nodded. "So sweet but with a gentle spice kick at the end! It's probably a perfect recipe!"

"Exactly! You're gonna be a world-class chef, Mallow!" Luna encouraged.

The young cook-in-training smiled, as if not expecting the strong praise. "Thanks to every one of you! And it's all because we finally tracked down some yellow nectar! Thanks to Ash, Pikachu, Rotom Dex, Rowlet, and Steenee, too!"

Cloudy and Luna shared a knowing look. "That's our big brother..."

Steenee happily cried its name as her trainer walked over. "I'll be depending on you, Steenee." Mallow held out her arms, which Steenee hopped into, exchanging a hug. "You're the best."

However, it was interrupted by a loud, long growl of a certain, short boy's stomach rumbling. Luna's head turned over to Sophocles. "{Was that you?}" Pikachu asked.

"Oh no! My tummy's sad knowing we won't ever eat this stew again. I hear you...," he replied dejectedly.

"Oh Sophocles," Lillie said.

"Your stomach rumbles when it's sad?" Lana asked disbelievingly, her tone more serious and less gentle than usual- still very soft, though.

Before the orange-haired boy could get completely grilled, Mallow interrupted them. "It's not that easy to get yellow nectar when it's not in season, but, please don't worry! It won't be our signature dish, but it's going to stay on our menu as our seasonal dish!"

Sophocles threw his hands in the air. "All right!"

"I'm glad to hear that!" Added Lillie, visibly pleased- she seemed to like the dish more than she let on to.

"Even so, my goal of creating a signature dish for my family's restaurant hasn't changed one bit. I'll have a lot more menu tastings for all of you to look forward to!"

"Awesome! Can't wait, Mallow!" Ash exclaimed, Pikachu hopping back on his shoulder.

"Neither can I! Your cooking is always fantastic!" Luna added, her tail wagging (embarrassingly) behind her.

Steenee exclaimed, letting off more Sweet Scent, causing Rowlet to wake up and fly after her lovingly again, Pikachu trying and failing to stop him. However, the happy Grass-Type didn't even notice him, leading the young owl Pokemon to crash and fall over.

"{Ugh, girls,}" Rowlet groaned.

"{It's your own fault,}" Pikachu told Rowlet with a sigh.
