...you get slapped in the face by reality.

Gosh this is so late at night *again*, thanks long asf assignments due at midnight! And with schools in my area closing once more (which I've been predicting for weeks) more work is bound to come my way. Sigh.

Here, have some more chaos and an answer or two.

When the alarms suddenly began to blare, lights flashing in the room, Luna flinched, ears instinctively folding over as the loud ringing drilled into her head. Even as she bit her lip to keep from nearly screaming- which she wouldn't have been able to do anyway with the muzzle on- she was still trying to think of a way out, glancing between Lunalox and her Hydreigon friend all in the same pained state as she was.

Establishing a mental link with her mind literally blared half to death was agony, but she had to get the message across. "NOW, GUYS! THIS IS OUR CHANCE!"

Migiki began thrashing, his neck slamming against the bonds as he let out snarls through his muzzled snout. "Trying! But this damned alarm... my head! AUGH!"

Soon, the other two heads were doing the same, while Luna and Lunalox both tried to struggle out of their own restraints. The Dark-Dragon-Types were making a bit of progress, the sound of metal snapping on one of their neckholds a promising crack, but there was no doubt time was limited. It'd take a miracle to get all three (five) of them out of there safely and in one piece.

Just as Luna was ready to give up, almost all the restraints suddenly opened up, falling onto the ground with a clatter. Luna's eyes widened as she was suddenly free to stand, gaping. The bands around her wings still tied them down to her body and her neck was still covered in the collar-like metal, but other than that she was free, if not a bit weighed down. The same had happened to the others' restraints, and the Hydreigon wasted no time in hitting a full-power Outrage against the door.

She and Lunalox jumped in, the former with a Hydro Pump and the latter with her recently-honed Rock Throw, as the white material began to dent and crack.

With a last Tackle from Luna, the door caved in, revealing the empty hallway in front of them. She and her Pokemon dashed down, choosing doorways and more halls at random while the Hydreigon flew behind, trying to shake off the disorientation.

Luna and co. turned another corner just to run into someone, the Pokegirl tripping; the extra weight on her neck and wings had her turning somersaults over the hard tiles without any sense of balance to ground her until gravity was slamming her against the hard floor. She barely managed to open her eyes afterward thanks to the dizziness and white-hot pain across her body, seeing a pale girl about her age with dark hair and eyes smirking, not that the image was very clear as the stinging sensation (the origin of which, she slowly came to realize, was the band around her neck, like getting hit by one of Thunderclap's Electric-Type attacks) only got worse.

Everything went black as the darkness rushed out to steal her away from the world once more.

The woman merely smiled as she watched the three (five, if you counted the three Hydreigon heads as separate beings) writhe in pain until they passed out, a small metal remote in her hand activating the shock collars the prisoners had been given. The only difference between them and the kind you got for your dog Pokemon was that the minimum voltage on them was thrice the strength of the maximum on a standard dog collar, and the maximum was enough to cause near-fatal damage to the organs.

Moon had settled for a low-power, lengthy shock; maybe it was less painful than a high-power shock that would knock them out in an instant, but it also left them awake just a few moments longer, long enough to let the dread settle in, long enough to realize they were caught once more. She had been waiting for this moment ever since she had stood at the back of the crowd during the former Champion's speech, the one broadcast to all regions in the Pokemon world. She had arrived, hidden amongst the crowd and stared at the now-Poke-teenager as she spoke, taking in every word.

It only fueled her rage, that Luna had been blessed after all the other things she had been given in life. She had two loving families, both human and Pokemon, a large and powerful team far past the usual 6-Pokemon limit, the blessing of the Kanto Professor, and now the ability to be a Pokemon, to speak with them and parade around with her ears, wings, and tail like she was special.

And after all of that, Luna had the audacity to forget the little girl who once had the same brown hair and shining eyes as she did when they were young.

Moon reached down to brush away the long strips of fur that had fallen in Luna's Pokemon-form's face like bangs, letting out a sigh. "I'm glad ol' Jess sent the Boss a head's up about the real identity of the little oddballs his lackeys picked up and her partner's plan to rescue you. Just like always, you've got an army on your side, but really... You should've known better than that, little star. After all... it's rude to run from destiny, or in this case, your very... own... twin."
