3/4 of the way done! It's been over a year of writing this, and we still have a lot to cover. Now, back to the action... Luna and co. have been kidnapped by mysterious poachers and no one knows... but when your sis disappears for three days without a word, someone's bound to start worrying.

"{Shouldn't they be back by now?}" Amber asked, the shiny Leafeon sprawled across the couch dejectedly. Her face creased in worry, and for good reason. The others in the living room had varying reactions.

"{It is unusual that Luna would go off without any of us for this long, though she is with Lunalox,}" Poseidon mused.

"{He's right; it's not that uncommon for sis to disappear for a day or so to train...,}" Henri added, though he still seemed just as worried as his sister.

Midnight jumped up, sending accusing glares at them. "{She and Lunalox have been gone for almost three days! How can you all be so calm!? What if something happened to either of them, if she's hurt!?" The shiny Umbreon was enraged, her tail lashing side to side as she tried to think of anything but her sister and the newest addition to their team in pain or lost without a way home. What if she was kidnapped, or someone did something to her-!

"{Mid, please calm d-}" Raven began, her own golden eyes just as frightened with losing the two as her younger sister was, but the Espeon was cut off.

"{No, I won't calm down! One of or both of them could be seriously hurt and we're just sitting here talking about it instead of helping them! We need to look for them!}" Midnight knew Luna; she was at the girl's side at every minute of the day! She had specifically told the shiny Umbreon not to worry if she was gone, since she'd be training with Lunalox, but she told Midnight it wouldn't be for too long. They should've been back by dinner! Now it was two and a half days later and they were still gone!

"{That's enough Midnight,}" Snow Queen finally snapped, the arguing siblings falling silent- the other members of the team had seemed hesitant to intrude on a family matter, even if it was their trainer in potential peril. "{We're all worried about Luna and Lunalox, but rushing out there without a plan of action won't do anyone any good.}"

Elise used the momentary silence to take control of the situation, waving the rest of the team closer with her tail. "{Midnight had a point that we need to look for Luna and Lunalox, but we need a plan like Snow Queen said. Torch, you're levelheaded. You go find them and bring them home." The Flareon nodded, standing up.

"{I'm going, too,}" Midnight declared, her Fire-Type partner just going along with it since it'd be best not to argue with her. As the two slipped out of the house, Elise gave the rest of her orders.

"{Gust, Blaze, Salem, you look for them from above and report your findings.}" The Salamence, shiny Charizard, and Mew all saluted. "{The rest of you will stand by. If everything's fine and Luna and Lunalox come home, we'll be ready to take care of them.}"

Meanwhile, Torch and Midnight followed the fading traces of the missing duo's scents, ending up deep in the forest. They kept walking and walking, the stale scent trail of a Hydreigon joining up with Luna and Lunalox's. "{Do you think it could've attacked them?}" Midnight asked, voice laced with a heavy amount of concern.

When they eventually made it to the clearing nearby where the family of Bounsweet and their neighbor Inkay lived, the same place the three Pokemon had been taken, Torch immediately noticed the smell of two unfamiliar humans. "{There's evidence of a struggle here,}" he noted grimly, pointing out the leftover tranquilizer darts on the ground and indents in the ground where the heaviest trace of Luna, Lunalox, and the Hydreigon's smells were with a paw. "{From what I can tell... They were kidnapped by some kind of illegal trappers.}"

"{This is even worse than I thought!}" Midnight wailed, stripped of her usual carefree and confident self upon receiving the news. "{If I could've just-}" The sound of a snapping twig cut her off, Midnight's dark-furred head instantly turning toward the sound. "{Did you hear that!?}" She whisper-hissed.

Torch nodded, creeping closer with light pawsteps. "{Let's go check it out.}" They silently crept toward the origin of the sound until the ones responsible for making it came into view. Two people dressed up in extravagant uniforms with a Meowth beside them. "{Oh, it's just Team Rocket...}"

Midnight let the tension in her body melt away, trying to relax her posture despite still being worried sick. "{Let's go talk to them. At least we can let someone else- by that I mean James- in on the situation. Maybe they can even help.}"

Her brother nodded, both of them straightening as they approached the trio. Jessie was the first to spot them, her usual irritated expression turned into a sneer. "Well if it isn't the twerpette's Pokemon. Here to turn yourselves in to make catching you easier on us?" She looked about ready to order Meowth to attack them.

Midnight just rolled her eyes as Torch walked over to the talking Normal-Type. "{We need to speak to James; it's an urgent matter. Can you please relay the message to him since he can't understand us?}"

Despite looking rather confused, Meowth complied nonetheless. The Flareon went on to quickly summarize the recent events, causing Meowth to gasp. "No way! The twerpette's been caught!?" He turned to James. "They want your help in findin' their trainer. 'Said she got captured by some kind o' Pokemon trappers, which happened u'bout three days ago."

Both Team Rocket members were shell-shocked for a moment, though James was the first to snap out of it. "Well of course I'll b-"

Jessie cut him off. "You most certainly are not going to help them! Someone finally did the dirty work for us, so maybe now the brat will stop bothering us all the time!" She hissed, having no sympathy for the brunette that had foiled a countless number of her plans with or without her half-brother present.

"But Jessie, I can't just not try and help! Who knows what they'll do to her! She's my friend!" James protested. "I'll help them whether you like it or not!"

The pinkette let out a frustrated scream, but knew it would be pointless to try to stop them as her partner in crime crouched down, beginning to speak to Midnight and Torch, Meowth acting as a translator for the Pokemon.
