        Luna was pleasantly surprised to notice the Key Stone on her younger sister's wrist, watching the silver pseudo-legend become a Mega-Evolved beast capable of outputting quite a lot of damage. "When did you get a Key Stone? Either way, if you want to start this battle for real, we'll show you real. Ready Poseidon?"

        "{Hell yes!}" The Vaporeon agreed, practically dancing with excitement. As Luna's fingers brushed over her own Key Stone choker, the shell-shaped anklet around Poseidon's back leg grew bright, enveloping him in a rainbow light.

        "Poseidon, Synchro-Mega Evolve!" After a few seconds, the light disappeared, leaving the regal Pokemon behind. His neck and cheek frills were much larger, and one decorated both of his front legs. Blue crystals were embedded at his upper front legs and lower back legs. His tail expanded out like a butterfly, and another frill grew out and around it like a bridal veil. Where eyebrows would be if he had them, three sapphires on each side were embedded, and a shell-themed crown sat on top of his head.

        The Synchro-Mega Vaporeon reared up, feeling full as full of life and energy as his trainer/older sister. "{Sweet, we haven't done this in ages!}"

        "{Mecca, don't give in to them, hit 'em strong with Zen Headbutt!" Cloudy commanded, pointing at the Water-Type.

        "Poseidon, use Acid Armor to strengthen your defense! Then use Shadow Ball!" As the Mega Metagross shot towards Poseidon, head coated in Psychic-Type energy, the Synchro-Mega Vaporeon surrounded himself in a purple barrier, which covered his body before disappearing.

        By the time Cloudy's Pokemon's move hit, he barely flinched, forming a dark orb of energy and hitting the Steel/Psychic Pokemon before it could flee. "You okay, Mecca?" The Pokemon nodded. "Alright, Hammer Arm!"

        "You know what to do! Use Dig!"

        "Forget what I said before, use Earthquake while he's underground!" Cloudy exclaimed, looking proud of her sister's oversight.

        However, Luna only seemed to smirk. "Don't let it use it's move! Surf it away while you're underground!"

        As Mecca swooped down to slam into the ground, a huge wave of water appeared from the hole Poseidon had dug, knocking the Metagross back. Then, the Vaporeon reappeared, digging itself out behind the Pokemon and smashing into it. "{That has to hurt...,}" Henri commented from the sidelines, watching the injured Metagross slowly lift itself off the ground.

        "Mecca, keep your distance and attack with Psychic!" Poseidon and Luna cursed under their breath at the same moment, realizing they had no defense against something they could neither run, hide, nor counteract with a move. They were both helpless when the Mega Pseudo-legend mentally lifted his opponent up and threw him back to the ground.

        Luckily, he recovered quickly, instinctively summoning Protect around himself when the Metagross tried his tactic again. "{Should have used this first try.}"
