HAPPY HALLOWEEN! I probably can't go trick or treating because I messed up my foot and can't walk and my whole family only has one car :')

Here's a chapter anyway, at least I'm getting out of school! More writing time!

The exasperated siblings put away their Rattata and Raticate books only to continue looking for information on the location of Yungoos and its evolution: Gumshoos.

They spent another hour inside the library before Torch found a book about totem Pokemon, where he read that Gumshoos was the Totem Pokemon of Verdant Cavern, and had a whole colony of Yungoos living there to back it up. "So we just need to go the cavern and ask for its help!" Luna finished.

With a collective nod, the ten left, feeling accomplished if not frustrated from how much work they did. It was about noon, so they had plenty of time to find it. Luna pulled out her Pokedex and switched it to map mode, looking around the island.

"Verdant Cavern should be a somewhat-hidden cave off the side of Route Three! And Route Three is... across the island. Alright guys and gals, who's up for a run?" Though she technically could fly, there was nothing like a group run to keep the group's blood pumping.

All three of the younger siblings (from youngest to oldest: Henri, Amber, and Poseidon) groaned, but the others didn't seem to mind. Luna lead the chase, shifting into Pokemon form to make it easier, as even with shorter legs, she was quicker and had more stamina. Thunderclap and Raven met her pace easily, while the others lagged somewhat behind with their much lower speed stats. All except Midnight, who always found a way to match her sister's running speed.

At this thought, Luna began to ponder her own stats. She wasn't documented in the Pokedex, nor was she a discovered Pokemon, so she was very curious. Seeing as she was a bit slower than Thunderclap, but about even with Raven, she guessed she had about an Espeon's speed stat, though she had been taking long runs every few days since she was a kid.

"{Watcha thinking about, Lu?}" Midnight shouted from beside her, wind drowning out most of the volume she output.

"My stats as a Pokemon!" Luna briefed. "I think my speed stat is like an Espeon!"

The shiny beside her only nodded as they continued to dash towards their target location. Finally, they reached the route, which was covered in overgrown grass and surrounded in trees, but up ahead it seemed to clear.

"Come on, let's go look up there! I don't see the cavern entrance, so it must be up ahead somewhere!" Luna exclaimed. They reached the area to realize they were on the top of a sheer cliff, overlooking the ocean. "Wow... I didn't realize this was at the edge of the island!"

Then they remembered their goal and turned away from the view. "{Anyone see the entrance to Verdant Cavern?}" Torch asked.

"{Not here,}" Thunderclap answered, feeling his paws against the rocks that had begun to form a barrier on the side of the route. He continued to follow it forward, passing over vines and crevices. Suddenly, he felt nothing, and, unbalanced, fell forward. With a yelp of pain, he groaned, "{Nevermind.}"
