I tried a bit of a different style while writing this one, getting into Luna's head a bit more and indicating specifically what she emphasizes. Definitely nice to try something new; hope it refreshes you!

Wind rushed through Luna's brown and blue fur, and for the first time in a while- outside of a battle, that is- she felt exhilaration run to her very core. Beside her, Midnight and Raven were doing the same, eyes brighter than before and paws thumping the dirt, grass, and logs they ran over as Thunderclap led them through a path in the woods.

It was that dull burn that slowly built up in Luna's legs as she continued forward that reminded her to keep pushing on, to keep fighting, to get stronger, to lose herself to the feeling of her maximum capacity and then break through it. Her paws had long since begun to ache, but she powered through it with grit teeth and a renowned fighting spirit.

Thunderclap steered the group, zigzagging through the forest as dusk settled and began its transformation into the night. The trees cast long shadows that the group more or less trampled, largely due to the fact that many of Luna's teammates were not built for running in narrow spaces, but they still managed anyway.

Despite a gigantic Tyranitar and the large-sized shiny Charizard and Salamence in their group, Tyrant, Blaze, and Gust held their own quite well, from what Luna could tell with a few glances behind her every so often- the latter two had long since grown accustomed to folding their wings just so to perfect their agility, able to squeeze between gaps most others of their species could not.

Pride welled up in the brunette-furred girl, not even minding the slight chill that came with the sun disappearing in the west. Her Pokemon were strong and she was so proud of them, and she was so excited to work with them all again. All her past experiences had led up to this, and it was time she upped her game.

Behind her, Lunalox let out a victorious cry, finally settling into the rhythm of the run. Luna arched her wings and added to the howl, their voices harmonizing in an odd, feral way. For the blissful moments of their run, they were wild, all part of one big pack.

Soon, the rest of the group was howling with them, as if to scream to the world they were still here, still alive, unbound and free.

Even the motherly Raven was adding to the cacophony. There was no doubt they were terrifying the wild Alolan Pokemon living in the area, but it was their way of sending a message. We are here! Luna knew her eldest sister had a lot of inner demons and a lot of secrets, so the Espeon may have joined them to spite them; she was one of the strongest Pokemon Luna knew, and the Psychic-Type would never stop fighting to protect those she loved, no matter what.

(It was the moments like these that Luna felt truly happy; when her restless soul was surrounded by her family and they were all connected wordlessly. Blood relation had nothing to do with it; in every other way they were kin, and it filled her with the deepest sense of satisfaction and contentedness. She doubted even the best romantic relationship could offer this- which is why she had never seen the need for her to personally seek a partner. Her brothers, sisters, and other teammates were the best companions she could ask for, and Luna needed nothing more to fulfill herself.)

Her Key Stone bounced on the mane-like fur that covered her chest, and she noticed the way the black and blue stone shone despite the gathering darkness around them. In similar fashion, the Z-Ring on her wrist nearly glowed as light bounced off the yellow eye of her Forbidium (and Darkinium) Z.

In the distance, she saw the flickering-light-giving bodies of what looked to be Illumise and Volbeat, though Luna didn't recall the two species being found in Alola. It made sense though; summery, firefly-like Pokemon that appeared in tropical areas during warm weather.

At least twenty minutes must have passed before the trees began to thin, slowly being replaced by occasional palms and the moss and dirt beneath their feet changing to sand dotted in grasses. Soon, Thunderclap and Nightshade burst from the grove all together and reached the beach, tossing sand up behind them as they continued forward at a rapid pace.

Thus was the nature of high-speed individuals, especially two as proud as Thunderclap and Nightshade undeniably were. Luna held back a chuckle as she followed them, immediately feeling the sand getting tangled up in her long fur. As the rest of their pack followed suit, the Jolteon and shiny Greninja in the lead began to slow, curving them around the shore before stopping entirely.

"What a perfect place to train," Luna commented thoughtfully, looking up to the inky-colored sky dotted with bright stars. "Open, and on such a clear night."

Beside her, Raven stepped forward, and the light of what was nearly a new moon washed upon her. The brilliant white of her fur seemed to be eaten up by the sleep black, her golden eyes replaced with the mystic purple all the much deeper. Once transformed, the night-form Espeon took in a breath and released it. "{You're right, Luna; the place is quaint, quite lovely regardless of the time. But remember, don't overdo it.}"

"Don't worry, Ray, I won't. I'm all warmed up from our jog after all, so it would take quite a bit to truly exhaust me to the point of it being unhealthy."

Midnight stretched her front paw out and curled her toes, tail lashing. "{Whoo, it feels great to be out here! I'm totally ready!}"

As she arrived, Snow Queen gave her younger sister a deadpan. "{Is that so? I want to see your Psychic so strong by the end of this session that you can fly with Lu, Blaze, and Gust.}"

"{It's on, princess!}" The shiny Umbreon shot back, telekinetically raising a ball of sand using said move.

Luna rolled her eyes as she stepped away from them. As expected, Nightshade and Poseidon were already sparring in the shallows of the water, while Thunderclap along with Blitz practiced laps across the beach. Tyrant was busy trying to conjure a miniature Sandstorm completely under his control, thus pelting a frustrated Elise, who was lifting stray driftwood in her ribbons to strengthen them while Amber used a shield she conjured from her Magical Leaf to practice defending against the weather condition.

Vice, Henri, Blaze, and Torch stood in a square as they tried to out-do one another's Fire-Type attacks, though Henri seemed to be falling behind thanks to his Normal-Typing. Gust was on his own with a respectable-sized Twister to keep him busy, leaving only Lunalox and Gleam without anything to do.

Luna gestured for the two lonely souls to join her, padding away from the rest of the group so they had plenty of room. Once the celestial canine and shiny Gardevoir reached her, Luna formed a Shadow Ball in her palm. "Let's give it our all, yeah?"
