Luna practically flew across the room, wrapping her younger biological sister in a huge hug. "Sis, I can't really breathe!"

"Sorry, but I missed you, Cloudy! No one said you'd be back today!" The brunette exclaimed, arms still tightly wrapped around her sister.

"I missed you, too, duh, but wowee, what happened this past week!? You have ears, a tail, and wings for goodness sake!" The thirteen-year-old trainer noted, wondering what her sister had been up to now.

Finally the two separated from the embrace, with the other Eeveelutions arriving from various other rooms of the house. "Oh, so much! It'll take forever to tell you everything! You say hi to the others yet?"

"Of course" Cloudy exclaimed, brushing a lock of silver hair from her face as she reached down to scratch behind Raven's ears. "They were the first to great me when I arrived!"

"I'm glad. Aw man, you won't believe what happened at school today!" Luna beamed, aiming her comment at the Pokemon moreso the human. When Cloudy furrowed her eyebrows seriously, the Pokegirl loudly exhaled. "Okay, I'll start from the beginning."

"So you can really understand what Pokemon say!?" Cloudy exclaimed, staring in wonder at her sister's transformed form. When the Eeveelution-like Pokemon nodded, she laid back against the couch, eyes wide. "You're so lucky, Luna! Tapu Koko blessed you, you've made friends at the Pokemon School, and now you've got Pokemon powers!"

"Don't forget that Ash is here, too, so you and him can catch up. I was going to ask our brothers and sisters if they wanted to help me work on my moves and do a few battles. Don't suppose you'd want to face me?" Luna asked, batting her eyelashes mockingly. She didn't bring up Alain, and she made a mental note to put the incident out of her mind.

Cloudy's eyes narrowed playfully. "I'll take you on any day! Even if I've only been a trainer for three years, my team is as strong as any!"

Thunderclap and Torch both turned to Luna. "{Are we allowed to beat the h*ck out of her Pokemon?}" The latter asked, earning a nudge from his brother.

"{Duh. If it's a battle, we're always allowed to kick our opponents asses.}"

"{Wow, language!}" Snow Queen exclaimed, irritated, from beside Luna. While Luna was talking to Cloudy, Midnight and Torch explained what happened. This put everyone, especially the moody Glaceon, on edge.

Midnight groaned. "{Only Luna and other Pokemon can even understand us, sis, we could say literally anything we want and Cloudy couldn't understand us.}" To make her point clearer, she purred, rubbing her head against Cloudy's leg. "{You ugly, lil th0ttie!}"

"Aww, I love you too Middy!" The girl replied, petting the shiny Umbreon's fur. Midnight sent Snow Queen an 'I told you so' look before taking in her human sorta-sister's attention.

"Come on, everyone. We've got a battle challenge, remember!" Luna called, to which her Eeveelutions unanimously nodded. They headed outside, walking to a nearby field to fight. "Are you sure about this, Cloudy?"

Reaching to her belt of seven Pokeballs, she nodded confidently. "Even if your team is larger than mine, we've been training for a while now! Come on out, Raze!" Cloudy shouted, releasing her first Pokemon: Togekiss.

The floating fairy nuzzled her before getting into battle stance, surprised but happy to see Luna. With a wave, she said, "{Hey, Luna! Take it we're up against you and your sibs today?}"

"You bet, Raze. Thunderclap, this one's for you! Midnight's not feeling too good, though, so I'm letting her rest," The Pokegirl responded, enthusiastically inviting the Jolteon forward.

"{Haven't seen you in a while, Raze. Been nice knowin' ya, cause we're gonna beat your-}"

"{Thunderclap, please be nice!}" Snow Queen barked, exasperated. "{As Pikachu said yesterday, from Torch, Midnight, and Luna's recollection: 'We don't talk smack on the battlefield!' Plus, save your rage for a certain noiret.}"

Both the Jolteon and Togekiss shrugged, waiting for command. Luna spoke first. "Alright, no hesitation! Thunderclap, let's start of strong with Thunderbolt!"

        "Raze, dodge it using Fly!"

"No worries! Hit her with Thunder while she's in the air!" Before the red-white-and-blue Pokemon could react, a huge Thunder smacked her down from Fly, slamming her against the ground. She shook it off rather well, though, looking to Cloudy with a determined nod.

"You know what to do! Aura Sphere, then Dazzling Gleam!"

"Don't let her attacks hit! Dodge with Quick Attack, then retaliate with Charge Beam!" Quicker than lightning itself, Thunderclap zoomed away from the oncoming sphere and wave of Fairy-Type energy, instead charging up and firing a powerful and empowering yellow beam. The Togekiss was knocked to the ground, hardly able to rise back up.

Chuckling, the Pokemon sent off a weak Air Slash, which completely missed its target. "{I seem to have fallen behind, huh?}"

"{Damn right,}" the Jolteon muttered, much to his Ice-Type sister's disliking. With a silent nod to his trainer, he smirked. "{Let's finish this.}"

"Thunderclap, let's get claim our second win of the day! Use Body Slam!" Luna ordered, watching the Jolteon faint Raze with a satisfying crashing sound. Cloudy gave a solemn nod before returning her partner. And not claim a second loss, she added regretfully in her head. Battling with her sister was a not nearly as dangerously fast-paced, and she was actually enjoying it, which had elevated her mood.

She reached for another Pokeball. "I choose you, Mecca!" She exclaimed as she released a large Metagross. The shining silver Steel/Psychic-Type acknowledged his competition with a blink, observing the trainer and her Jolteon brother.

"Good pick. Thunderclap, come on back. Poseidon, you're up!" The Vaporeon looked surprised to be put up against the towering pseudo-legendary. When he gave Luna a questioning glance, she announced her reasoning. "The only Electric-Type or Grass-Type move Metagross can even learn is Thunder Punch, and that's only by tutors in Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, or here in Alola, none of which my sister has been to. Seeing as Water resists Steel and you've got some handy tricks up your sleeves, you're definitely perfect for this matchup!"

"You really think ahead, huh?" Cloudy giggled. "I'm impressed. It's true: I don't have any move super-effective on your Vaporeon. But dear Poseidon's lowest stat is defense, and Mecca is primarily a physical attacker!" She gave a taunting smile before looking to her Pokemon. "Mecca, let's start this battle for real! Mega Evolve!"
