Chapter 28: Bull's Hate

Phoenix woke up before Blake, Blake of which is laying on Phoenix her head on his chest purring softly. He smiles at Blake and strokes her hair making her purr more. After a few minutes he shakes her awake. Blake looks up with at Phoenix with a smile on her face and stretches.

Phoenix: "Morning, Blake."

Blake: "Morning, Phoenix."

Phoenix puts a hand on her head and strokes her hair making her purr once more and lean into his touch.

Blake: "These are unauthorized pets."

Phoenix: "You're enjoying it aren't you?"

Blake: "That's why I didn't say to stop."

Phoenix: "We're going to have to get up eventually."

Blake: "Not yet. More pets."

Phoenix: "You're acting like Ruby, except she likes to cuddle."

Phoenix spent about 15 to 30 minutes just petting Blake as she laid on top of him purring softly. There's a knock on the door and Kali can be heard on the other side.

Kali: "Phoenix, you awake in there?"

Phoenix: "I am."

Kali: "Is Blake in there? She wasn't in her room."

Phoenix looks at Blake and she shrugs.

Phoenix: "She is."

Kali: "Alright, come down in a few minutes breakfast will be ready."

Phoenix: "Alright."

Kali's footsteps can be heard as she walks away.

Blake: "I hope she doesn't get the wrong idea from this..."

Phoenix: "If she's assuming we had sex it's not it would be the first time we did."

Blake: "Phoenix!"

Phoenix: "What?"

Blake: "We were drunk, it hardly counts."

Phoenix: "I'm just telling the truth."

Blake: "Times like this I want to claw your eyes out."

Phoenix: "But you're not going to."

Blake: "You're just lucky I like you."

Phoenix: "Whatever you say."

Blake gets off Phoenix, gets out of bed and heads to the door.

Blake: "I'll see you at breakfast."

Phoenix: "See ya there."

Phoenix gets out of bed and stretches hearing a satisfying crack, he sighs with a smile then goes and puts his clothes on he wore yesterday. With that he walks out of the guest bedroom and down to the dining room. He sees Ghira already sitting at the table and Kali in the kitchen. Phoenix goes and sits down at the table.

Ghira: "Good morning, Phoenix. How did you sleep?"

Phoenix: "Pretty good all thing's considered."

Ghira: "I'd be happy to give you a tour of Kuo Kuana, if you'd like."

Phoenix: "Oh, that's fine, me and Blake will probably walk around today, so I'll see it anyways, and even if me and Blake don't I'll probably wander around myself, and hopefully not get lost."

Ghira: "My offer will stand."

Phoenix: "Thank you, Ghira."

Ghira: "It's not an issue, Phoenix."
