Sunoo's POV

There I was, biting my nails, shaking my legs. I was waiting for that Jihoon guy to arrive. I've made my decision, I'll take the offer once I know that it's real.

*CLING CLANG* The metal rods hanged on the door made a sound so I looked up, it was him, but he was alone this time which kind of made me feel less anxious. I took deep breaths before going to his table.

"I'll take it. But prove to me that it's real first." He sighed before taking his phone out and texting someone. Then it rang, he suddenly faced the screen to me, it was a video call, the person on the screen was indeed Mr. Lee Heeseung... in a bathroom robe...?

Heeseung
{Good afternoon Kim Sunoo. I heard that you've already accepted the offer! We'll don't you worry because what you're seeing right now is... very... real.}

Sunoo
{T-Thank you Mr. Lee... May I know the conditions, plans, and when can I start?}

Heeseung
{Oh hahaha, we'll need to talk privately for that. After your shift, my men will be waiting for you, they'll take you to a restaurant, where I'll be waiting to settle things with you.}

Sunoo
{Excuse me sir but, can't you just tell me now?}

Heeseung
{I don't disclose confidential information in public restaurants, private matters, matter. See you soon Mr. Kim.}

Sunoo
{But-}

With that, the call ended, and Jihoon left. I took a peek out the window and he went inside a black van. After some time, the sun was began to set, and the restaurant was about to close. I had something important to attend to, and I knew it couldn't wait any longer. Taking a deep breath, I went to Karina, my heart pounding.

"Hey, Karina," I began, catching her attention, "I'm actually going to head somewhere else for a bit. Something important came up."

Karina raised an eyebrow, concern evident in her eyes. "Is everything alright?"

I nodded, offering a reassuring smile. "Yeah, everything's fine. It's just something I need to take care of."

Karina's eyes softened. "Don't worry about the ride. I'll let Mrs. Sunja know you're not riding with us."

I smiled gratefully at her. "Thanks, Karina. I appreciate it."

Before I stepped outside the door, Karina shouted. "Take care, okay? Catch up later."

"Definitely," I replied, grateful for her understanding.

As I walked briskly through the bustling streets, my mind focused on the task at hand. The distant hum of engines reached my ears. My steps slowed as I spotted the black van parked by the side of the road. As I approached, the sliding door opened silently, revealing Jihoon seated inside.

"Get in," he said, his voice low and inscrutable.

Without a word, I climbed into the van, the door closing behind me with an ominous thud. The interior was dimly lit, the mood tense as I observed the men in black suits who surrounded me. Their presence sent a shiver down my spine, and I couldn't shake off the feeling that I had stepped into a world far more complex than I could imagine.

We pulled away from the curb, the city lights fading as we ventured into unfamiliar territory. I kept my observations discreet, my eyes scanning the surroundings.

After what felt like an eternity, the van finally came to a stop. Jihoon's steady gaze met mine as he opened the door. "We're here."

I stepped out of the van, my heart pounding against my ribs as I surveyed the restaurant before me. The view was elegant, and people I saw looked rich. I suddenly felt embarassed of my outfit. Jihoon motioned for me to follow him, and I fell into step beside him.
