Heeseung's POV

I woke up to the familiar chime of Sunoo's cellphone. He usually kept it on his bedside table, and it had a tendency to interrupt our mornings. However, I didn't mind. It gave me an opportunity to watch him sleep, and he looked so peaceful in those moments.

Rubbing my eyes, I reached for his phone and glanced at the screen. It was a message from Sunoo's mom. Curiosity piqued, I read the message.

Sunoo, dear, How are you?

I was wondering if you could visit here sometime. We really really miss you.

Maybe just for a day or two :)

But it's okay if you are busy, just make sure you also wnjoy yourself there and don't tire yourself out! Your dad is missing you too.

We love you :)

"H-Hee..." My eyes flickered towards Sunoo, who was stirring awake. He gave me a questioning look as I held his cellphone.

"Who's it from?" He asked as he fixed his hair.

I glanced at Sunoo, "It's from your mom. She wants you to visit if you have the time. She says she misses you." I said, handing him the phone.

Sunoo glanced at the screen, a conflicted expression on his face. I tried to ease his concerns. "Do you want to go see them?"

He looked at me, hesitating. "I... I can't, Heeseung. I mean, it's not the right time."

I sensed there was more to it than he was letting on. "Why not?" I asked gently.

He hesitated before responding, "I... I'm just busy at school."

I understood his unspoken words. Sunoo was worried about what I might think, he was scared to go out, likely because of my strictness. My heart sank a little. Sunoo's relationship with his family was complicated, and I knew he didn't often talk about it. But it was clear that he hesitated.

"I know why," I said quietly. "I've been too strict about this before, haven't I?"

Sunoo's eyes softened, and he looked down, playing with his hand. "I've avoided going because I was scared you'd be angry."

That confession struck a chord deep within me. I sighed as I realized that my possessiveness and protectiveness had, at times, pushed Sunoo away from his own family. Guilt washed over me.

"Sun," I began, "we're going to Busan tomorrow," I declared, surprising both him and myself.

His eyes widened. "Wait what? W-Why?"

"Because your mom wants to see you, and I don't want you to be scared to go out." I explained, my determination overriding any objections he might have.

Sunoo stared at me, a mix of surprise and gratitude in his eyes. "Heeseung, you don't have to..."

"I want to." I said with a determined smile.
