Sunoo's POV

The ride back from the event felt like a whirlwind, the echoes of applause and the lingering memory of the kiss still fresh in my mind. As we stepped into the mansion, I immediately excused myself to the bedroom because I was exhausted. But Heeseung followed me.

The moment we entered the bedroom, his demeanor shifted. He became more intimate, more demanding, as he drew me closer.

"Sunoo," he murmured, his voice laced with a hint of desire. "You were so fucking gorgeous tonight."

I forced a smile, though every fiber of my being screamed to retreat. His arms wrapped around me, his touch intimate and overwhelming, and he started kissing down my neck again which made me uncomfortable. I glanced towards the door.

"Excuse me," I managed to say, my voice unsteady. "I-I just need to wash up."

As I broke free, he held my wrist again, his grip on me tightened, and he leaned in, his lips dangerously close to my ear. "Sun, our arrangement goes beyond appearances."

I froze, his words sinking in like a chilling realization. The casual flirty facade he had displayed was peeling away to reveal something darker, something that sent a shiver down my spine.

Heeseung's voice dropped to a low, threatening tone. "One day, you'll have to fulfill every role of a wife, Sun. Including those intimate ones. I'm just going easy on you... for now..."

My breath caught, and I met his gaze, my eyes widened and was filled with worry. His warning hung in the air, a haunting reminder of the power he held over me.

He then let me go, my heart pounding in my chest as I stumbled towards the bathroom. The door closed behind me, and I leaned against it, trying to catch my breath and process what side of Heeseung I just witnessed.

As the water washed over me in the bathtub, I tried to cleanse myself of the unease that had settled within me. But no matter how hard I scrubbed, the weight of Heeseung's warning lingered, a reminder that what I got myself into was more dangerous than I expected.

I stepped out of the bathroom, a towel wrapped around me, intending to change into something more comfortable. As I entered the bedroom, I froze at the sight of Heeseung standing there.

"Sun," he greeted, his voice gentle, a stark contrast to the threatening tone he had taken earlier. "Dinner babe."

I hesitated, caught off guard by the sudden change in his demeanor. Still, I managed a small nod, because I had something to request from him... "Sure, that sounds nice."

We made our way to the dining area, the maids setting out a sumptuous spread of food. Heeseung pulled out a chair for me, and I took a seat, my mind racing as I tried to find the courage to broach the subject that had been nagging at me.

As the dishes were laid out, Heeseung's attention was solely on me, his smile almost genuine. "I hope you find tonight's dinner to your liking, Sun."

"Yes..." I replied, my voice steady despite the nervousness that churned within me.

As we began to eat, the conversation flowed naturally at first, discussing the event and the people we had met. I pushed aside my apprehension, my determination growing stronger with each bite I took.

Taking a deep breath, I looked up at Heeseung, my resolve firmly in place. "Heeseung, there's actually something I've been meaning to discuss with you."

He raised an eyebrow, his gaze fixed on me. "Go on Sun."

I paused, gathering my thoughts before continuing. "I... I want to continue my studies. In Seoul International College."
