Sunoo's POV

Heeseung's claim that we were in America echoed in my mind like a haunting refrain. Confusion and anger bubbled within me as I demanded answers from the devil who stood before me.

"Heeseung," I growled, my voice trembling with a mix of anger and disbelief. "What the fuck do you mean we're in America?"

Heeseung's cold chuckle filled the room. "I survived, Sunoo. You can't kill a devil."

I gritted my teeth, seething with frustration. He grabbed my cheeks, squeezing them with a painful force. "I brought us to America so you could shut the hell up about escaping."

I tore his hands away from my face, aggression coursing through me. "You can't keep me here forever," I seethed, my voice strained from the pain and frustration.

In a moment of defiance, I tried to lunge at Heeseung, determined to break free from the shackles that bound me to this torment.

But a searing pain cut through my stomach, a harsh reminder of the bullet that had found its mark in our previous encounter. I winced, my body betraying my intentions. Then I finally saw my right hand, cuffed to the bed railing.

Heeseung, reveling in my momentary vulnerability, taunted me. "You're as weak as ever, Sunoo. Pathetic."

"I swear, Heeseung," I hissed, my voice strained but determined, "I will kill you. And this time, you won't come back."

Heeseung, unaffected by my threats, left me alone in the stark hospital room. The door creaked shut, sealing me in a cage of despair. I screamed after him, the desperation in my voice echoing off the sterile walls.

Heeseung left me there, writhing in both physical and emotional pain. As he disappeared from the room, I screamed after him, "LET ME OUT OF HERE YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE!" A desperate vow echoing through the sterile walls of the hospital.

The nightmare persisted, evolving into a twisted saga in a foreign land where escape seemed like an impossible dream.

Heeseung's POV

The conversation with Seohyun in the car lingered in the air, each word carrying the weight of my intentions. "Change all my meetings to America," I instructed, my gaze unwavering. "I'm done with Korea."

Seohyun nodded obediently, taking note of the directive. "And find me a new mansion. I'm tired of living in these hotel rooms," I added with a touch of irritation. The transient existence grated on me, and I longed for the stability of a permanent residence.

As Seohyun scribbled down my orders, a question hung in the air. "What about the guards and maids?" he inquired, an inquisitive look in his eyes.

"Transport them all to America once I find a suitable mansion," I replied curtly. My surroundings were a reflection of my status, and a grand residence was essential for someone of my stature.

Then came the inevitable question about Sunoo. Seohyun's curiosity danced in his eyes as he asked, "What's your plan with Sunoo?"

A sly smile crept onto my face. "I'll make sure Sunoo won't see his friends, and his friends won't see him," I revealed, a hint of satisfaction coloring my words. Isolation was a powerful tool, and I intended to use it to its full extent.

Seohyun's next inquiry touched on Sunoo's education. "What about his schooling?" he asked, hinting at the practicalities of Sunoo's life.

I waved off the concern with a dismissive gesture. "I don't give a fuck if he finishes school or not. Education is secondary. All I want is for Sunoo to serve me," I declared, my voice cold and unyielding. The concept of a conventional life for Sunoo seemed trivial compared to the dominion I aimed to establish over him.
