Sunoo's POV

The confrontation at the event had left me feeling like a puppet in a twisted play, torn between the man I once loved and the one I had to obey. Heeseung's fingers dug into my arm, it was as if there was no escape from his clutches. But then, a sudden glimmer of hope ignited when Sunghoon reached for my other arm.

"Heeseung, you can't just-" Sunghoon's voice trembled with a mixture of anger and concern.

But Heeseung cut him off with a cold, threatening tone. "Let go, Sunghoon, or I promise you, you won't like the consequences for both you and Sunoo."

Sunghoon hesitated, and I could see the internal battle raging within him. The fear of what Heeseung might do to me if he defied him warred with his determination to protect me. Reluctantly, he released his grip on my arm, but not without a parting shot.

"Remember this you sick fuck," Sunghoon hissed, his eyes locked onto mine. "I won't give up on him. I'll find a way to free him and bring you down."

Heeseung didn't respond. Instead, he continued to drag me away, his grip on my arm unyielding. I glanced back at Sunghoon, watching as he stood there, determined and resolute. It was a promise, a lifeline that I desperately clung to.

When we arrived back home, the tension in the air was suffocating. Heeseung's grip on me didn't falter, and I knew that I was in for something terrible. As he slammed the door behind us, he didn't waste a moment. His fingers wound into my hair, yanking me forcefully towards the living room.

The pain in my scalp was excruciating, but I refused to cry out. I had already shed enough tears, betrayed enough secrets. I couldn't give Heeseung the satisfaction of seeing me broken. I was resolute in my silence, my gaze locked onto the ground.

Heeseung threw me onto the couch with a brutal force that knocked the breath from my lungs. His anger radiated from him like a deadly aura, and I knew that I was the target of his wrath.

"Sun..." he hissed, his voice a dangerous whisper. "I told you to behave. I warned you what would happen if you defied me."

I remained silent, unwilling to give him any satisfaction. My heart raced, and my mind raced with thoughts of what Sunghoon had said, of the determination in his eyes.

But Heeseung wasn't finished. He walked towards me, his expression twisted with fury. He grabbed my chin, forcing me to meet his gaze.

"You think you can defy me and run back to him?" Heeseung's voice was a venomous hiss. "You think he can protect you from everything I can do?"

I said nothing, refusing to be drawn into his cruel game. The truth was, I didn't know what Sunghoon could do, but I couldn't let Heeseung see my uncertainty.

With a growl of frustration, Heeseung released my chin and took a step back. His gaze bore into me, a chilling mixture of anger and desire.

"Fine, Sun," he said, his voice softening just slightly. "You want to play games? We can play games. I like games too."

Heeseung turned away from me, storming off to his office. I took a shaky breath, my heart pounding in my chest. "Get his little friends, every single one of them."

I felt like I was going to vomit from the sudden nervousness that I felt. I hope what I was thinking was wrong, but looking at Heeseung's eyes, I knew he meant harm.

Without thinking, I lunged at him with all my force, but he didn't budge. I repeatedly slammed my fist on his chest, "Don't hurt my friends!"

With a cold voice, he spoke, "This is your fault Sun, not mine..." He said before knocking me out, blood spewed from my nose as I blacked out.
