Sunoo's POV

I woke up to the familiar warmth of Heeseung's chest, but as soon as I tried to get up, he tugged at my arm. Typical. I shook it off and playfully slapped him. "Get away from me, you smell like alcohol," I teased.

Heeseung muttered something, still half-asleep. "As if you're not used to it. As if you don't love it," he mumbled back.

"Ew!" I wrinkled my nose in mock disgust, but he finally let me go. "You always smell like alcohol on mornings."

"You said this day will be my day off!" Heeseung cried out like a baby.

"Take a shower, Hee," I said, trying to hide my smile.

"Fine, but you'll have to make me the tastiest breakfast ever," Heeseung countered, a hint of mischief in his eyes.

I rolled my eyes and threw him a towel. "You're lucky I love you," I joked, knowing full well that I wouldn't have it any other way.

As Heeseung headed to the shower, I couldn't help but smile to myself. Despite his rough edges and his love for causing trouble, he had a way of making every moment feel just a little bit brighter.

With a contented sigh, I got up and started preparing breakfast. Sure, Heeseung could be a pain in the ass sometimes, but he was my pain in the ass. And I think I wouldn't trade him for anything in the world... My family's an exception.

Heeseung emerged from the bathroom, still shirtless and a towel around his neck, a mischievous glint in his eyes that I knew all too well. I couldn't help but chuckle at his playful demeanor. "What's with that grin?" I teased, already anticipating the trouble he was about to cause.

Heeseung's grin widened even further, if that was even possible. "Oh, do you wanna see?" he replied.

I shook my head, laughing. "No, Hee," I said, backing away as he made a beeline towards me.

But Heeseung was relentless. He sprinted towards me, his laughter filling the air. "STOP!" I squealed, dodging out of his reach.

"GET YOUR ASS OVER HERE!" Heeseung shouted, his eyes sparkling with excitement.

I couldn't help but laugh as I darted around the kitchen, trying to evade his grasp. But my luck ran out, and I stumbled, almost falling. Before I could react, Heeseung lunged at me, and I braced myself for impact.

But just as he was about to tackle me, Sky came out of nowhere, leaping at Heeseung with a bark. I watched in disbelief as Heeseung stumbled back, caught off guard by our playful husky.

I couldn't help but laugh as Lily joined in, showering Heeseung with affectionate licks. "That's what you get," I said, smiling from ear to ear.

I knelt down to pet both dogs, thanking them for their timely intervention. "Who's a good girl? Who's a good boy?" I cooed, ruffling their fur.

I glanced up at Heeseung, who was scratching his head and chuckling along with me. "You're lucky these two came to your rescue," he teased, unable to suppress his amusement.

I chuckled. "Yeah, yeah, I owe them big time," I admitted, giving the dogs a grateful pat.

We both caught our breath, I couldn't help but feel grateful for moments like these. Despite all the chaos and craziness, there was nowhere else I'd rather be than right here, with Heeseung and our furry companions.

As they sat down to eat, Heeseung suddenly slid his black card across the table to me. I raised an eyebrow in confusion. "Hm? What's this?" I asked.
