Heeseung's POV
I stood there, looking down at Sunoo, still bound by ropes in each of his limbs, with a sense of satisfaction. He had tried to defy me, but ultimately, he was powerless in the face of my control. As he panted, his breath heavy, I couldn't help but feel satisfied, but felt disappointed at the same time.
"Well, Sunoo, I thought you could at least be good at something for once," I taunted him, my words dripping with mockery. I continued, "I thought you might show some improvement, but I guess some things never change. You are such a disappointment."
In response, Sunoo's anger erupted, and he hurled curses at me with a fury that had been building for some time "When I get out of here, I'm going to kill all of you mother-FUCKERS! GGRGH". It was a desperate attempt to regain a semblance of power in a situation where he had none.
I chuckled, the anger in his words only serving to amuse me. "You're such a fiery one, aren't you? It's almost cute when you try to resist."
Sunoo's fury seemed to grow with each taunt. He despised my enjoyment of his suffering, but that only fueled my desire to break him further.
With a wicked grin, I leaned in caressing his face, savoring the moment as I delivered my cruel promise. "Well, Sun, I suggest you get some rest. You're going to need all the energy you can muster for later tonight."
Sunoo's expression shifted from anger to resignation as he closed his eyes. He was trapped in this never-ending cycle.
As I watched him lie there, I couldn't help but relish the chaos and dominance that defined our twisted relationship. It was a game I had no intention of ending, not when it gave me so much control over him.
I dressed, my mind entirely focused on the task ahead. My footsteps were steady as I made my way to the kitchen, a glass of wine in hand. I couldn't help but reflect on the recent turn of events, particularly Sunoo's persistent defiance, which had become an unbearable thorn in my side.
Determination filled me as I dialed Seohyun's number. I needed to know the status of the mansion's repairs, a critical element in my grand plan. When Seohyun answered, I got straight to the point. "How's the progress on the mansion repairs?"
Seohyun sounds like he just woke up and his weak voice responded, "It's estimated to be fully fixed by tomorrow, Mr. Lee."
I simply nodded in response, offering a curt "Thanks" before ending the call. With the knowledge that my residence would soon be back to its former glory, I felt a renewed sense of control and power.
While I sipped my wine, I reminded myself not to be swayed by Sunoo's superficial acts of compliance and other shit he has to play. I knew all too well that Sunoo's loyalty could be a façade, and I had to remain vigilant.
Deep in thought, I contemplated strategies to maintain not only my hold on Sunoo but also to permanently remove the obstacle that has been pestering on my plan since day 1... Sunghoon.
If Sunoo managed to outsmart me, then so be it, I'll make a trap that none of them could even comprehend and find a way out of.
Sunoo's POV
I was trapped, and panic surged through me as I frantically searched the room for any means of escape. The door was locked, and there were probably guards nearby. Desperation clawed at me.
My eyes darted around the room, and that's when I saw it, the bed frame. One part was torn, the wood exposed. My heart pounded in my chest as I reached out, struggling to break a piece free. My hands trembled, but I knew I had to try.
