Heeseung's POV

The sterile scent of the hospital room greeted me as I slowly opened my eyes. Disoriented, I found myself lying in a bed, the white linens crisp against my skin. Blinking away the fog, I spotted Seohyun talking with a doctor near the foot of my bed.

"Mr. Lee, you're awake," the doctor said, rushing over. "You had a Vasovagal syncope episode due to extreme stress and emotions. It's important for you to avoid such situations."

Seohyun's concerned gaze met mine, and the doctor continued, "I'll leave you in the care of your friend. Take it easy, Mr. Lee."

As the doctor exited the room, I sat up, grappling with the weight of the situation. "I need to know about Sunoo. Is he okay?"

Seohyun assured me, "It's okay, the guards are keeping an eye on him, and he's still locked up."

Relieved but restless, I requested, "Take me home, Seohyun. I can't stay here."

Though reluctant, Seohyun nodded, and we left the confines of the hospital. Once home, I made my way to Sunoo's door but hesitated. Instead, I retreated to my own room, lying down to gather my thoughts.

Seohyun, standing in the doorway, asked, "Is there anything else you need?"

"Check on Sunoo," I muttered, my mind filled with worry. "Bring him some food. Make sure he's okay."

Seohyun nodded again, leaving me alone with my thoughts. As I lay there, the events replayed in my mind - the argument, the collapse, and the predicament I'm currently stuck in. The room felt suffocating, echoing the chaos within me.

Sunoo's POV

The air in the dimly lit room felt heavy as I sat on the confines of the bed, still shaken from the earlier events. The sound of the door creaking open caught my attention, and Seohyun entered, a tray of food in hand.

"Brought you some food. Heeseung's orders," he said, his tone laced with sarcasm. "You know, eat, so you don't starve or something dramatic like that. And don't bash someone's head with a tray again, please."

I sighed, not in the mood for Seohyun's sarcasm. "How's Heeseung?" I asked, my voice betraying the concern I tried to conceal.

"He's fine," Seohyun replied, placing the tray on the table. "Probably asleep now, thanks to you screaming for help when he passed out. Doctor said he has Vasovagal Syncope, caused my emotions or stress."

Relief washed over me, knowing Heeseung was okay. "I didn't mean to stress him, or cause trouble," I mumbled.

Seohyun scoffed, "Trouble seems to follow you around, doesn't it? Did you know you're the first person he talked about just right after he woke up."

I looked down, guilt gnawing at me. "Why does Heeseung even care? Does he know he also caused nothing but problems?"

Seohyun, surprisingly serious, said, "You know, he genuinely cares about you. Maybe you should give him another chance. Think about it - he keeps showing you how much he's willing to give for you, and you keep resisting, and doing... stupid things."

I rolled my eyes, "He's just trying to control everything for his own pleasure."

Seohyun shook his head, "You're missing the point. Heeseung's trying to show you that he cares. Maybe you should let someone in for once. Genuinely."

With that, Seohyun left me alone in the dim room. The untouched food sat on the tray, a reminder of Heeseung's concern. Guilt gnawed at me as I thought about the chaos I've brought into their lives. Unable to eat, I sat there, wrestling with my own demons and the undeniable truth that Heeseung might genuinely care - a truth I was struggling to accept.
