Heeseung's POV

The maid helped me pack the luggage as the night wrapped around us. I entered the van, catching sight of Sunoo dressed up.

"You look pretty, Sunoo," I blurted out.

"Thank you, the maid helped me pick my outfit." he replied with a shy smile.

As I settled beside him, I began explaining our plans, "We're heading to Louisiana for a vacation in a week. I've already bought us a house to stay in."

"A house? Not a hotel?" Sunoo's eyes widened in surprise.

"Yeah, thought it would be nice to have our own space," I explained.

Seohyun drove the van with my other guard Jinho in the passenger seat. I rummaged through my bag, retrieving Sunoo's cellphone, attempting to hand it over.

"Here's your phone," I said, extending it towards him.

Surprisingly, Sunoo refused, saying, "No, it's okay."

Our journey led us to a bustling car stop with various restaurants. Turning to Sunoo, I asked, "What restaurant do you want?"

Sunoo grabbed my hand, leading me to a specific spot. We settled at a table, and I ordered the food.

As I approached the table with the tray, I noticed Sunoo giggling and having 1a conversation with Seohyun and Jinho.

"What's so funny over here?" I joined in, feeling a subtle warmth seeing Sunoo getting comfortable.

"Hah, nothing, we were just sharing some stories," Seohyun explained.

Bringing the food to the table, we began to eat, the atmosphere lightening with each shared moment.

"This is delicious. Did you choose this place?" Seohyun asked me, looking genuinely pleased.

"No, Sunoo did." I replied with a smile.

"Well, it's clear now Sunoo has a good taste." Seohyun said, making Sunoo slightly giggle.

In the midst of laughter and conversation, the van continued its journey through the night, the hum of the engine and occasional chatter filling the air. We arrived at our destination, and I marveled at the size of the house, larger than I expected, though not quite as grand as the one in Mississippi.

"Thanks for driving us, Seohyun, Jinho. Get some rest in your rooms," I said, appreciating their efforts.

They nodded, expressing gratitude before heading to their respective rooms. Turning to Sunoo, I smiled, "Let's get you settled in. We'll explore tomorrow."

Sunoo gave a tired but content nod as walked through the hallways. I led him to our room, advising, "Rest up. Tomorrow's a new day."

"Okay," he replied, his gaze already fixed on the bed.

As Sunoo settled in, I excused myself to the bathroom. Washing my face, I looked at myself in the mirror, a silent affirmation echoing in my mind – one step at a time, we're doing good.

Changing into more comfortable clothes, I returned to the bedroom. Sunoo was already lying on the bed, and I slid into bed beside him. He shifted to make room, and as sleep gradually claimed us.

Sunghoon's POV

The night air at the Starkville airport felt heavy as we stepped off the plane. We huddled into a black van, Jungwon on the phone. Frustration etched on his face, he suddenly exclaimed "What?!" and hung up, leaving us in suspense.
