Sunoo's POV

"No boys, hm?" Heeseung said and I nodded. He gave me a kiss before I leave the car. I went inside the class and focused on the class.

I was engrossed in my studies when my phone vibrated on the desk, pulling me out of my concentration. I glanced at the screen and saw a message from Minho's. Curiosity piqued, I sneakily opened his message.

As the bell rang, signaling the start of break, I packed up my belongings and made my way to the school's backyard.

Minho was waiting for me, his expression a mix of frustration and determination. "Hey, thanks for coming."

"Of course. What's going on?" I asked, my concern evident in my voice.

Minho sighed, he looked around us for a moment. "Our teacher said Jay and Jake dropped out of school for private reasons. I've been trying to reach them, but there's no response. They aren't like that. I... I just- I can't shake the feeling that this is... Heeseung's doing."

My heart sank at Minho's words, a sense of unease settling within me. I knew that Heeseung was capable of manipulation and playing games, but the thought of him potentially targeting my friends was a new level of worry.

"I-I that so...?" I said slowly, my mind working to process the information. "Oh well... I'll ask hi-"

"NO!" I was startled by Minho's scream as he held my shoulders "I-I mean... it's fine, maybe I'm just overthinking... I don't want you to get in trouble too..."

I held his shoulder back in response "I can handle myself... But let's just be careful then, I'll distance myself away from others and you for now..."

"..." Minho stared at me like he was hypnotized or something "Do you really have to do that...?"

"Minho... I- I don't want to get you in trouble too okay? I don't want anyone else to become a target just because they're associated with me, especially... you." I said, I was shocked because his lips started shaking and his eyes were blinking so fast and... he was tearing up.

Minho's gaze dropped to the ground, and I could sense the disappointment in his demeanor. A heavy silence settled between us, broken only by the distant sounds of the city outside. When Minho spoke again, his voice held a hint of vulnerability. "Do you really think that's the best solution? It's... it's not easy for me to accept."

I was shocked at his words, torn between my intentions and the emotions tugging at me. "I know it's hard... but it's for the best," I said, trying to steady my voice.

Minho's eyes shimmered, and I was taken aback when a tear slipped down his cheek. His lips curved into a sad smile as he quickly wiped it away. "Agh fuck, haha. Don't mind me. It's just... It's a lot to take in."

Confusion and concern swirled within me. Seeing Minho, usually so composed, displaying such raw emotion was a rare sight. "You okay?" I asked, my worry evident.
