Heeseung's POV

Rage pulsed through my veins, a searing fire fueled by the realization that I had been deceived. My steps were heavy, purposeful, as I marched towards the retrieving area of the hospital. The nurse behind the counter eyed me with a mixture of confusion and concern as I approached.

"I need Sunoo's belongings. Where are they?" I demanded, my voice a low growl.

The nurse hesitated for a moment, glancing down at her list. "I'm sorry Mr. Lee, but there were no accessories on the body we examined."

A surge of anger twisted my features. "What? That's impossible. Sunoo always wore that damn necklace. A necklace I gave him. Where is it?"

She checked her list again, her brow furrowing. "I'm really sorry, sir, b-but there's no mention of a necklace in the belongings we received."

My fists clenched at my sides. Sunoo's necklace was a symbol of our connection, a constant reminder of the control I held over him. It couldn't just vanish. A sinister realization crept in.

"Tell me the cause of death of the body you examined," I demanded, my tone sharp.

Her eyes widened, sensing my rage. "I-I can't disclose that information, Mr. Lee."

I lost my patience. I grabbed her uniform, my grip tight and unrelenting. "You will tell me, or I will fucking kill you and your family"

She stammered, "D-Drowning sir... The cause of death was drowning."

My anger exploded, a profound sense of betrayal settled over me. Drowning? That wasn't... what happened. Sunoo died at my hands... or did he...

The nurse, released from my grip, stumbled back in fear. I didn't care. My world shattered around me. I crashed through the retrieving area, overturning tables and scattering papers. The weight of my own failure pressed on me, a burden too heavy to bear.

Fury emanated from every pore as I stormed out, dialing Seohyun's number. Seohyun's calm voice spoke on the other end, "Good afternoon si-"

"Sunoo's alive," I snarled into the phone, my voice dripping with venom. "Find him. Him and Sunghoon. Find them both," I ordered, the urgency in my voice undisguised.

As I hung up, the reality of the situation settled in. Sunoo had played me, and now, my carefully constructed world was crumbling. A new, unpredictable game had begun, and this time, I was determined to be one step ahead.

I reached for my phone once again, checking the tracker of the necklace. It's in an.... abandoned building...? Is that the best hideout they can find?

I went to my car and started it. I texted Seohyun and my other men, instructing them to raid the building and others surround, providing no room for escape. I wasn't going to let Sunoo slip away this time.

The abandoned building loomed ominously ahead as I parked my car, anger pulsating through my veins. The tracker led me here, and I was certain this was their hideout. In the trunk of my car, I retrieved an arsenal, guns, a knife, an earpiece, and a single grenade. My heart pounded as I cocked the guns, ready for the confrontation that awaited.

Rage fueled my every step as I approached the decaying structure. The door creaked open, protesting against its rusted hinges. I entered, the darkness inside swallowed me whole.

Silently, I moved through the shadows, my senses alert. The tracker led me further into the building, up creaking stairs, and through narrow hallways. The stench of abandonment hung thick in the air. As I reached the top floor, the tracker's signal became stronger. I tightened my grip on the weapons, anticipating the showdown.
