Sunoo's POV

I stumbled through the grand entrance of Heeseung's mansion, my body weak from my recent ordeal. The guards supported me as we entered, and there, waiting with a bright smile, was Heeseung, as if nothing had happened.

"Sunoo!" Heeseung exclaimed with cheerfulness, and I could only muster a cold stare in response.

He guided me to the dining room, where an extravagant spread was laid out before us. I picked at my food, unable to summon any appetite, my eyes fixed on my plate.

"How are you feeling?" Heeseung finally asked, his voice trying to maintain its earlier pleasantness.

I offered him only silence, a chilly rebuke for the torment I had endured.

Heeseung persisted, his words laced with kindness. "Sunoo, I'm genuinely concerned about your well-being. You've been through a lot."

Still, I remained mute, refusing to engage in any semblance of normalcy with this man.

When I looked at him, his smile changed into a serious and irritated face, faster than lighting. Leaning closer, he abandoned his pretense of warmth, his words falling like ice. "You know, Sunoo, my patience has limits."

A shiver ran down my spine as he continued, "If you won't cooperate willingly, I might have to explore other avenues of motivation..."

"Perhaps I should turn my attention to your dear friend, Sana..."

His casual mention of Sana sent a shockwave of fear through me, and I struggled to breathe, my eyes welling with tears. I couldn't let him hurt her.

"Please," I gasped, my voice trembling, "don't hurt her. I'll do anything. Just promise me she'll be safe."

Heeseung leaned back in his chair, his expression inscrutable, a cruel smirk dancing on his lips. "Anything, you say?"

Tears streamed down my face as I nodded frantically, my fear and desperation laid bare. "Yes, anything. Just keep her safe."

From his words, I realized that no matter what I do to avoid him, he'll always find ways to make me obey him again, for me to let him pull my strings again.

Heeseung locked eyes with me, his gaze chilling to the bone. "Good, Sun, I expect loyalty from you. No more disobedience, no more attempts to contact anyone without my permission. From now on, you belong to me completely, hm?"

I nodded again, the gravity of my situation sinking in. The darkness that enveloped me seemed inescapable, and I had no choice but to comply with Heeseung's demands, for my sake, for Sana's, and for the others.

I laid in the bed, the soft sheets enveloping me, and watched as Heeseung sat at his desk, engrossed in his laptop. The events of the past days had left me drained, physically and emotionally.

Heeseung looked at me from his laptop, his sharp eyes assessing me. "Sun," he said, his tone less confrontational than before, "I have a business deal meeting tomorrow in an event. Since you don't have school, I'll take you with me. I'll let you interact with others since I don't want you to get bored."
