Heeseung's POV

As I slowly regained consciousness, I found myself surrounded by darkness, a sense of peace washing over me. The pain that had consumed me moments before was now replaced by calmness.

A figure materialized before me, radiating an otherworldly presence. "Who the hell..." I muttered in confusion.

"I... am the Keeper," the being announced, its voice echoing genty around the area.

Confusion clouded my mind as I tried to comprehend my surroundings. "Where am I?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.

The Keeper's response was cryptic yet reassuring. "Follow me," it instructed, its form shimmering as it beckoned me forward. "Someone is waiting for you."

With a sense of trust, I followed the Keeper as it led me to another chamber bathed in darkness. And there, sitting at a table, was... Sunghoon.

As the Keeper left, leaving Sunghoon and me alone, I settled into a seat at the table, my mind full of questions. I turned to Sunghoon, hoping for answers. "Do you know where we are?" I asked, feeling anxious.

Sunghoon kept his head down for a moment before slowly looking up, sadness in his eyes. "I think we're in the afterlife," he said softly, his words heavy.

Shock ran through me as I glanced around the strange surroundings, feeling nervous. The idea that we might be in the afterlife made me shiver with fear.

Before I could fully understand, Sunghoon spoke again, sounding sad. "But..." he hesitated.

"What?" I asked urgently, feeling a sense of dread.

Sunghoon's next words weighed heavily on my heart. "But only one of us gets to live," he said quietly. In that moment, the seriousness of our situation hit me, and I knew a tough choice lay ahead—one that would decide both our fates.

I turned to Sunghoon, my heart sinking at his revelation. "How do you know that?" I asked, my voice tinged with concern.

Sunghoon met my gaze, his eyes reflecting a profound sadness. "The Keeper told me," he replied softly.

A sense of dread washed over me as I processed his words. "Fuck..." I muttered under my breath, realizing the gravity of the situation we were in.

Sunghoon gestured towards the door through which I had entered, his words heavy with gravity. "Behind that door, the Keeper waits. Whoever goes out that door will be the one who will live," he explained, his voice steady despite the weight of his words.

I met Sunghoon's gaze, feeling the weight of his decision heavy upon us both. An awkward tension hung in the air between us as we grappled with the enormity of the choice before us.

Then, Sunghoon spoke up, his voice filled with sincerity. "I love Sunoo," he confessed, his words echoing in the silence of the room.

I opened my mouth to respond, ready to express my own feelings for Sunoo, but Sunghoon spoke again before I could utter a word. "But I think you should live," he concluded, his gaze unwavering as he made his difficult decision.

My breath caught in my throat as Sunghoon's words washed over me, heavy with meaning. "I can't help but think you're right, Heeseung..." He murmured, barely able to form the words in the weighty silence of the chamber.

Sunghoon's admission struck a chord deep within me, stirring feelings of guilt and responsibility that I had long buried. "You have everything Sunoo needs and will need. You can provide a better life for him," Sunghoon continued, his sincerity piercing through the solemn atmosphere.
