Sunoo's POV

Rage consumed me as lunged Gyujoon, my chest heaving, my grip on the shard of glass that I picked earlier, unrelenting. In the dimly lit room, his eyes widened with terror, realization dawning upon him too late. With a swift, merciless motion, I drove the shard into his heart, the crimson flow of life staining the floor. "You're just like your boss," I hissed through gritted teeth, my voice laced with venom. "A pest that needs to be exterminated."

But my triumph was short-lived. A chilling presence filled the room, and I turned to see Heeseung standing in the doorway, his sinister smile sending shivers down my spine. My breath hitched as our eyes locked, his gaze unwavering. "Sun," he purred, tauntingly. "Hahahaha... Did you really think you could escape me so easily? I'll find you, wherever you go."

My heart pounded with a mixture of fear and fury. "What the fuck do you want from me, Heeseung?" I demanded, my voice trembling with suppressed anger. "Why can't you just let me go? I'm so fucking tired..."

Heeseung's laughter echoed in the room, a haunting sound that seemed to seep into my very soul. "Oh, Sun, you've always been mine. I want you to realize that, to embrace your destiny. To... die with me."

Heeseung's chilling declaration hung heavy in the air, like an impending storm that threatened to engulf everything. I could feel my heart racing, a mixture of fear and anger bubbling up inside me.

"What the fuck's wrong with you?" I spat out the words, my voice trembling with a mixture of dread and frustration. "What kind of sick game are you playing?"

Heeseung's smile never wavered, his eyes gleaming with a twisted delight. "My Sun, you've always been so naive. This isn't a game. This is destiny. We're meant to be together, even if it means we meet our end."

I clenched my fists, my anger boiling over. "Destiny? You're delusional! You forced me, forced me into this...this nightmare!"

Heeseung's tone turned mocking. "Forced? No, Sun. I saved you from a life of mediocrity, from a future without purpose. I gave you meaning."

I shook my head, unable to comprehend his warped logic. "You call this meaning? You've destroyed every fucking thing I ever had! M-My family, my friends, my freedom...all gone because of you!"

Heeseung's smile widened, as if my suffering brought him immense satisfaction. "You never needed them, Sunoo. You only need me."

My voice rose with desperation. "I don't need you! I never did! I had a life before you, and I want it back!"

Heeseung's demeanor shifted, his eyes narrowing in a dangerous glint. "You're nothing without me , Sun. You'll see that soon enough."

Fury surged through me, and I couldn't hold back the torrent of anger any longer. "No! I'd rather die than be trapped with you for the rest of my life!"

Before I could comprehend my own words, Heeseung grabbed my arm, both our hands grappling for the glass shard. But he was stronger, and he overpowered me with ease.

As we grappled on the floor, our voices devolved into incoherent shouts and curses. The room seemed to close in around us, the walls bearing witness to our twisted struggle. I fought with everything I had, my desperation lending me a fleeting burst of strength.

But Heeseung was relentless, his obsession with me driving him to greater heights of cruelty. As he pinned me down, I felt the shard of glass press against my throat, a chilling reminder of how close I was to losing everything.

My gaze darted to where Sunghoon lay, unconscious but breathing. He was innocent in all of this, and I couldn't let him become a casualty of my war with Heeseung.
