Heeseung's POV

"Sir, sir, it's time to get up. You have a meeting with Mr. White," San's voice pierced through my sleep. I groggily opened my eyes and groaned, "Fuck..."

San scoffed, "How much did you drink last night, sir?"

"Three bottles... and that's with Sunoo," I muttered, stretching my stiff limbs.

"It seems like you have a really low alcohol tolerance, sir," San grinned at me.

I shot him a playful glare and dragged myself out of bed. As I stumbled into the kitchen, the rich aroma of coffee beans hit me, offering a slight relief from my headache. Through the backdoor, I saw Sunoo playing with our husky, Lily, and our golden retriever, Sky. His laughter was infectious, even from a distance.

I started making coffee, savoring the routine. "Has Sunoo eaten yet?" I asked one of the maids.

"Not yet, sir. He also just woke up," she answered.

Determined to make up for my grogginess, I decided to cook breakfast. I prepared eggs Benedict, waffles, and a yogurt parfait, putting extra care into each dish. "Eat if you want to, San," I said, nodding towards the food. "I'll just check on Sunoo."

Stepping out into the backyard, I was greeted by the warmth of the sun and the even warmer sight of my sun with our dogs. I took a moment to soak it all in, before going closer to him and catching him in a back hug.

Sunoo flinched when I hugged him from behind, and a playful kick from Sky sent us both tumbling to the ground. Lily and Sky took the opportunity to lick my face relentlessly.

"Well, good morning to you," Sunoo said, laughing.

"Morning, Sun," I replied, cracking my neck and still feeling the headache from last night's drinking.

"I told you we shouldn't drink. You reminded me you had a meeting today," Sunoo said, a hint of admonishment in his voice.

I scoffed, "Tsk, I'm fine, I'm still alive."

Sunoo chuckled. "You and the others eat inside. I prepared breakfast," I said.

"Let's go then," Sunoo suggested, but I shook my head.

"I have to go to the meeting. I'm sorry." I stood close to him and mumbled into his neck.

"Aw, good luck with your meeting then," Sunoo said, giving me a quick smooch before heading inside with Lily and Sky.

I smiled and followed them inside to shower. After dressing, I gave Sunoo a kiss and whispered, "I love you," before going to the car.

San was driving, and good ol' Minho sat in the passenger seat while I lay in the back. "Perimeter, Minho?" I asked.

"Clear and safe. I've found five possible escape routes, and backups already surround the area," Minho replied.

I scoffed, "Damn, it's good to have you back."

"I'm only doing this because you're good to Sunoo," Minho said.

"Well, I'll continue to be good then," I smirked.

Minho glanced at me through the rearview mirror. "You better, sir."

We all chuckled, relieving some tension between us. Mr. White was a pretty big name in the mafia world. Almost every businessman I had encountered knew of him.

As we arrived at the meeting place, a seemingly abandoned building, San knocked on the door, and a huge man opened it. We were led through a club-who knew clubs operated during the day? We went downstairs and found ourselves in a long hallway. At the end was a wide room where White sat in his chair, feet crossed on the table.
