Chapter 70 | S3: Missing Hurts

Heeseung's POV

"Sun... Sun... Sunoo." I gently shook Sunoo awake, watching him squint his eyes, still half-asleep. The boys' excited cheers echoed through the jet. "We're here," I said, smiling as Sunoo's face lit up with realization.

We left the jet and made our way to the front of the airport, where a limousine awaited us. The warm Hawaiian air was a refreshing change from Seoul.

"How do you have a limousine in fucking Hawaii?" Jake asked.

I smirked. "It's not only in Seoul where I have businesses or men. I just tell them what I want, they'd give it right away."

The ride to the mansion was filled with chatter and laughter. When we arrived, the sight of the mansion, though smaller than the one in Seoul, still took my breath away. The boys excitedly chose their rooms while Sunoo and I headed to ours.

As soon as we entered our room, Sunoo flopped down on the bed, clearly exhausted from the journey. I sat beside him, feeling the same fatigue.

"Let's rest first before we go to the resort I reserved for later this evening," I suggested, gently running my fingers through his hair.

Sunoo nodded, his eyes already closing. I lay down next to him, wrapping my arm around him. The bed was comfortable, and the sound of the wind outside was soothing. This vacation was exactly what we needed.

*RING*

I woke up to my phone ringing and saw it was dad. I gently got off Sunoo and answered it before it woke him up. I slowly walked towards the backyard while talking to Dad.

Dad
{Hey, Son, did you all arrive safely?}

Heeseung
{Yes Dad, we just got to the mansion. It's beautiful here.}

Dad
{Glad to hear that. How's everyone settling in?}

Heeseung
{They're all excited. They're already knocked out on the bed.}

Dad
{Good, good, they deserve the rest. And how are you feeling?}

Heeseung
{I'm okay, Dad, just tired from the flight too. Oh, by the way, how are Lily and Sky?}

Dad
{They're doing great. Lily's been running around the garden all morning, and Sky's been his usual lazy self. Or he's jealous because you didn't take him.}

Heeseung
{Heh, well, that's good to hear. Make sure they get their treats.}

Dad
{Of course, they're spoiled rotten. Anything you need from here?}

Heeseung
{No, Dad, we're all set. Just wanted to make sure everything's good on your end too.}

Dad
{Everything's fine here. And... I wanted to tell you something, Heeseung...
