Sunoo's POV

*RING RING*

My alarm rang, and I groggily picked it up, glancing at the time. I gently tapped Heeseung. "It's StarStyle's launch event, Heeseung..."

Heeseung gripped my waist tighter and buried his face in my neck, groaning. "You're the owner. It'd be a shame if you don't show up," I whispered.

"Ugh, can't I have a day off with you...?" Heeseung mumbled.

"I don't think you have any schedule tomorrow. Now get your lazy ass up," I said, trying to wiggle free. But Heeseung just pulled me tighter.

I saw Lily and Sky by the door and got an idea. I whistled and pointed at Heeseung. The two dogs jumped on the bed and started licking him, making him sit up, his hair disheveled.

"Alright, alright, I'm up," Heeseung said, laughing.

I stood up, shaking my head. "Come on now, I'll make breakfast." I tried to drag Heeseung's arm, but he pulled me stronger, causing me to fall into his arms.

I slapped his shoulder playfully. "You're so fucking corny."

Heeseung chuckled sleepily, and we both got up. I threw him his shirt and headed to the kitchen. As I started cooking, Heeseung sat at the table, watching me with a smile.

We ate and showered, then got ready for the event. San and Minho accompanied us to the venue. As we drove, I found myself breathing heavily, nerves starting to creep in.

Heeseung noticed and leaned over. "Don't worry, you can talk to whoever you like now," he said reassuringly.

I chuckled, feeling a bit more at ease. When we arrived, Heeseung stepped out of the car first, greeted by the flashing lights of cameras. He turned and grabbed my hand, holding it firmly as we stood there amidst the flashing lights.

We walked inside, and I tightened my grip on Heeseung's hand, my heart pounding. But I took a deep breath and composed myself. We sat at our table, but Heeseung was quickly pulled away by some men who recognized him. He glanced back at me, and I nodded to let him know I was fine.

A server brought me a wine glass, and I took a sip. Hm, Cabernet. Heeseung had taught me well. Just then, a woman approached me. "Are you Mr. Lee's partner? You look so... angelic," she said, smiling.

"I told you, honey, he's even better looking in person," added a man who seemed to be her husband.

I smiled genuinely at the compliment, but then flinched slightly as I felt a hand on my shoulder. "Yep, he's mine," Heeseung said, appearing beside me.

"Oh, you two are sweet. I wish my husband could say that to me," the woman said jokingly.

We all shared a laugh, and after some more mingling, the host finally spoke, signaling for everyone to take their seats.

The event droned on, and I felt my boredom growing. Regret began to punch me hard for waking Heeseung up to attend this boring-ass event. Heeseung must have noticed my state because he leaned in and asked, "You tired? We can go."

I shook my head, obviously lying. "No, no. Let's finish it."

Suddenly, Heeseung placed his hand on my thigh and started rubbing it gently. Instead of feeling sleepy, I felt a jolt of awakening. I put my hand on top of Heeseung's to stop it, but he continued, his touch growing bolder, moving deeper and deeper. Heeseung pulled my seat closer to his, closing the gap between us.
