Kabanata 47

Hindi ako makapagfocus sa pag-aaral ngayong araw. Ang daming tumatakbo sa isip ko. I scribbled on my notebook while our professor is busy solving a problem.

Am I going to experience this every day of my life now? Dealing with a lot of people every day will be so exhausting. Should I face it? Accept it? And get over it? Para tapos na? Para hindi na ako matakot?

My phone vibrated in my pocket.

Rai:

Are you okay?

Nang mabasa ko ang text niya ay parang gusto ko na siyang tawagan para magsumbong. I pouted.

Sinumulan kong magtype ng mahabang litanya at magkwento pero binura ko rin iyon agad. I'll just tell him later.

Me:

No :(

Rai:

too much social interaction? i heard about it.

Me:

Yes.

Rai:

i'll see what i can do about it today. Don't worry, okay?

Rai:

where do u want to hang out later?

Me:

Somewhere private pls I don't want to accidentally ran into someone I know

Rai:

okay, i'll see you later. don't think about it much pls

Palabas kami ng classroom para sa lunch nang simulan ko na problemahin kung paano ko dadalhin lahat ng bulaklak, paperbag, at stuff toy sa likod.

I started collecting the letter attached to each flowers and also to every stuff toys. Nagpatulong ako kay Wendy sa kung anong gagawin.

"Get what you want to keep. Ang mga janitors na ang bahala magtapon nyan."

"Can I get a one, Lily?" tanong ng isa kong ka-block.

Tumango-tango ako. "Sure! Yes, please. Thank you."

"It's a waste naman kasi na itapon lang," sabi pa nung isa.

"Can you guys help me bring all the stuffed toys? And the paper bags too?"

"What are you going to do with all that? Don't tell me you're going to bring it home?"

I nodded. Kanina ko pa iniisip kung anong gagawin ko sa lahat ng binigay nila. Naisip ko ang patients ni Mommy sa hospital lalo na ang mga bata roon. They would be happy to receive gifts I'm sure. Kaya iyon ang naisip kong gawin. Mahirap bitbitin lahat pero sayang naman kung itatapon lang.

"Hayaan mo na lang yan dyan. You can certainly buy one if ever maisip mo na gusto mo pala," Wendy persuaded.

"I'm going to give it to Mommy's patients in the hospital," I explained.

Nagtaas ng kamay ang kaklase ko para makuha ang atensyon namin. Hinawakan niya ang kamay ko.

"I have a friend from CHRM, we can borrow a cart from them so that you can carry it to the parking lot later."

I smiled widely, "Thanks!"

College of Hotel and Restaurant Management, shortly abbreviated to CHRM, is located in the West Building.

"We have to go there though and personally asked him so we can get the cart na rin."

"Sure, no problem! It's free cut and it's lunch na right after," I answered. Hinarap ko si Steve and Wendy, "Stay here na lang. Punta lang kaming West Building."
