Akala ko dati magkikita pa rin kami kahit papaano dahil maliit lang naman ang Marikina at magkalapit na Barangay lang ang Malanday at Sto. Nino pero dalawang taon na ang nakakalipas, hindi nangyari.

This is what happened when I watched and read too much romance. I let destiny do the work. I relied too much on it. Ni hindi ko siya chinat dahil sa tuwing naiisip ko na gawin iyon, nahihiya ako at kinakabahan. Pakiramdam ko, limot na niya ako. Nakakahiya na hanggang ngayon, hindi ko pa rin siya nalilimot. Maybe, it was my pride intervening or maybe, I am too scared of rejection.

Iyong girlfriend niya nung 4th year? Balita ko nag-break sila matapos ang isang taon. The girl cheated. Matapos non ay may ilang babae na rin akong nakita sa FB niya hanggang sa wala na akong balita.

Sa batch namin, hindi naman na uso ang Facebook. Instagram na madalas. Hindi ko siya finafollow sa Instagram at naka-private ang account niya.

It's not that he's on my mind every day all throughout the years. I have a lot of things on my plate to think about.

Grandma enrolled me in Luxus College, a prestigious business school in Taguig. It's inside BGC. Enrolled in this school are the elite and heirs of big families in the Philippines. It's the first time I never had to fake my identity because having money and a powerful family is not something you would specifically get attention here. We are all like that. They're all rich. It's a relief for me. It's enough that they know who I am. I don't get the spotlight.

I can say I easily fit in. I have friends but I don't think I made a deeper connection than I did in High School.

I took Civil Engineering because they don't have a business program. Grandma said it's because every program there has business courses. It's true. I even thought that they are not teaching us to be employees but to be an heir. I learned a lot.

Andrea went abroad and studied in New Zealand and we lost contact. Guess, I'm not really good at maintaining friendships. It's proven and tested now.

Adriel studied in National University if I remember correctly. Nisha's studying AB English in UST and Summer's in CEU.

Gab studied Economics in UP Diliman and...now in our 3rd year in College, he already has his own car. Yabang!

He parked in the West Parking of Luxus. It's the first time he picked me up using his car. It's a Toyota Fortuner. I'm not familiar with cars, I just read it written on the back exterior of his car.

Sabi niya kasi isasama niya ako ngayon dahil lagi kong kinukwento sa kanya na wala akong circle of friends dito sa school. Meron naman talaga. It's just that I don't feel the deep connection between us.

Bumaba siya ng sasakyan at pinagbuksan ako ng pinto. Sumakay ako roon.

"Seatbelt," Hinintay niya na suotin ko iyon bago niya isara ang pinto at umikot sa driver's seat.

"Naks, marunong ka ng mag-drive," Puri ko. I tapped his shoulders while he was wearing his seat belts.

"Huwag ako, Lily. Ikaw nga marunong magpalipad ng eroplano."

Natawa ako. "Anong connect?"

It's true though that I learned how to fly an aircraft. I personally suggested to Grandma that I should learn so I can definitely know what I am getting into. I know that I should focus on the business side but I want to learn the actual business first. Isa pa, ayaw pa ni Mommy. She wanted me to finish my studies first.

I enrolled in a pilot school as soon as I finished highschool. Well, my grandma made a special arrangement about that. While Gab is learning to drive a car, I was learning how to man a plane.
