Kabanata 35

Even though he said that he wanted to kiss me, he didn't do it. He's taking everything slow. It's been 4 months now since we started hanging out.

He pick me up from school every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Hindi siya bababa sa sasakyan niya. Wala naman nakakakilala ng sasakyan niya roon. Buti na lang. We meet somewhere in High Street every Tuesday and Thursday. We usually watch movies, coffee shop, and eat dinner together. Ganoon din tuwing Weekends. Sabado kami ng umaga nagkikita lagi hanggang hapon. Ihahatid niya ako sa Manila Pen matapos para sa dinner namin nina Grandma at Mommy.

Sanay na akong hinahawakan niya ang kamay ko. Medyo bumaba na rin ang kaba ko. Hindi na iyong parating parang mahihimatay ako. I am still not used to him hugging me but I like it. My favorite gesture is when he snaked his arms on my waist. I still feel like fainting though.

Rai:

What's your schedule on Saturday? You have Sat class, right?

Once a month, we have a Sat class for a minor subject. Dalawang oras lang iyon sa umaga. Doon ko madalas tinatapat ang schedule ko na mag-practice sa pagpapalipad ng aircraft.

Lily:

Class til 9. I'm going to Paranaque after. You?

Rai:

I have a boring meeting in Tagaytay around 8. After that, wala na. Can I come?

Lily:

Hmm, I'm flying a plane tom, I'm still nervous around you so it would be dangerous on the aircraft if the Pilot is nervous so I can't still fly with you. Sorry, so most of your time will be spent waiting for me. Let's just meet after.

I really have a lot of words to say when texting.

Rai:

I'm fine waiting. I'll wait for you there. I just want to be with you tom.

I smiled.

Lily:

Okay, where do you want to go after?

Rai:

Let's figure it out tom. I haven't seen you wearing Pilot attire.

Rai:

Excited.

I laughed before I typed in my reply.

Lily:

It's nothing grand. Don't expect too much.

Nauna akong makarating sa aviation. I am greeted by our staff. Grandma's secretary talked to me.

"Are you going to check the new commercial aircrafts later, Miss Lily?"

"Sure," I excitedly answered, "After."

Mag-isa na lang ako ngayon. Kada buwan naman ay ginagawa ko na ito kaya ayos na sa akin na mag-isa. Nang matapos ako ay natanaw ko si Grandma kasama ang secretary niya at katabi niya si Rai. Oh my god!

Tinakbo ko ang distansya namin. Malayo pa ako kaya malayo rin ang tinakbo ko. Abala sila pag-uusap pero nang mamataan ako ay agad silang bumaling sa akin.

I removed my shades. I usually wear one because of the sun. Sobrang tirik ang araw sa itaas. It hurts my eyes so.

Rai scanned me from head to foot. I'm wearing simple black fitted pants and a fitted black polo shirt. He licked his lips then smirked.

"Sexy," He mouthed silently.

Kinabahan ako agad na baka makita ni Grandma iyon. But the butterflies in my stomach flew so enthusiastically because of Rai.
