I was now sitting in our Home Studio, writing a new Song for my upcoming Album.
Me and Jade came back from New York a few days ago, and things are going smoothly between us. I've never felt so in love before. She is truly an angel sent from heaven, just for me. And I never get tired of thanking God enough, for making us cross path's.

This new song I'm working on is based on a narrator who finds a bloodstained carpet and an unconscious body. At the beginning I thought of the title 'Al Capone', but with the more lyrics that I'm writing down, the more I think that the title 'Smooth Criminal' suits this Song best.

"As he came into the window
It was the sound of a crescendo
He came into her apartment
He left the bloodstains on the carpet
She ran underneath the table
He could see she was unable
So she ran into the bedroom
She was struck down
It was her doom
Annie, are you okay?
So, Annie, are you okay?
Are you okay, Annie?
Annie, are you okay?
So, Annie, are you okay?
Are you okay, Annie?
Annie, are you okay?
So, Annie, are you okay?
Are you okay, Annie?
Annie, are you okay?
So, Annie, are you okay?
Are you okay, Annie?"

While reading through the lyrics written down on my notebook, I started humming a melody that has been stuck in my head for a while...
Liking the result, I continued writing the lyrics.

"Annie, are you okay?
So, Annie, are you okay?
Are you okay, Annie?
You've been hit by
You've been hit by a smooth criminal"

This is perfect...

I've spent almost the entire evening sitting in the Studio, continuing to work on my Album.
I would stop here and there, lost in my thoughts... thoughts drifting to my beautiful girlfriend.

We haven't told my family that we are in a relationship just yet, nor the press, but I'm hoping on this upcoming weekend. I am going to give her all the time that she needs.

Me, Quincy and the rest are now in the studio, recording 'Smooth Criminal' and 'Leave Me Alone'.

We focus mostly on Leave Me Alone since I am not fully satisfied with Smooth Criminal just yet.

So I went into the cabin, positioned myself in front of the microphone, put the headphones on, and as soon as the music started I got myself ready to sing and record.

"I don't care what you talkin' bout, baby
I don't care what you say
Don't you come walkin' beggin' back mama
I don't care anyway
Time after time I gave you all of my money
No excuses to make
Ain't no mountain that I can't climb, baby
All is going my way
Who's laughing, baby?
Don't you know
(And there's the choice that we make)
(And this choice you will take)
Who's laughin', baby?
So just leave me alone
(Leave me alone, leave me alone)
Leave me alone
Leave me alone
(Leave me alone, leave me alone, leave me alone)
Leave me alone
Stop it
Just stop doggin' me around"

It took us the entire afternoon to record this Song, since I wanted to adjust some parts and do some arrangements that I felt were missing.
But the Song turned out pretty good.

"You look happier, lately..." Quincy said to me at some point, making me smile widely.
"You think so?" I asked and bit my bottom lip, both of us sitting in two chairs.
"Nah, I don't think so, I see it. Is there something I should know?" he teased, flashing me a big smile showing off his teeth, making me giggle.
"I'm just really happy... you know..." I confessed shyly and shrugged my shoulders, looking away.
"Is a girl involved in this?" he kept teasing, now I was definitely blushing.
"Maybe... yea..." I replied almost whispering. Now we were both laughing.
"Well, whoever it is, I see that she's making you happy. And as long as you are happy, so am I." he said, patting on my shoulder with his hand.
"Thank you, Quincy. This really means a lot to me." I replied looking back into his eyes, flashing him a smile.
