Months passed... Michael was on the edge of an emotional breakdown. No, he already had an emotional breakdown. He wouldn't leave his house, not even for the Studio sessions... he would cry himself every night to sleep, accompanied by an entire bottle of whiskey. He had to take medicines to help himself fall asleep, since he had been struggling with it, until it became a chronic issue.
He has never felt so guilty in his entire life... He felt like a piece of shit, for doing this to her beloved. His family tried reaching out to him, offering him their help... but he didn't want to see anybody. He just wanted to be left alone.
In the meantime, Jade started travelling the world due to her job as a model. She had survived months of serious illness... mental illness... such as depression, anxiety, fear, nightmares... At some point, her best friend Kenzie, suggested to start working again so that she could keep her mind busy. And that's what she has been doing.
She went from state to state, country to country, delivering photoshoots everywhere.

All the men's were chasing her, but she didn't have the slightest interest on dating someone new right now. She just wanted to keep her mind busy with her work.
One day, Michael got convinced from his mother and his manager to go back to the Studio and try to put in words all the feelings that he has been keeping to himself for all those months... He struggled a little, but it seemed like it helped a little.
Well, it helped a lot, since in December he discovered on having written so many Songs that he was thinking on releasing a new Album in the upcoming year, called 'Dangerous'.
After a long Studio session on a winter day in December of the year 1990, Michael returned home and watched the TV to keep himself up to date... but then he wished he didn't, since every News Channel talked about her. She has become one of the most wanted and loved models, all around the world. Gosh, how is it possible that she's even more beautiful? he thought while admiring the new photos of her, that were showed in the television.
A solitary tear rolled down his cheek, and he immediately wiped it away, before turning the TV off.
He walked into the kitchen to grab a bottle of Whiskey, before walking into his office and closing the door. He sat on the chair behind his desk, opened the bottle, and took a long sip of that strong liquor letting it slide down his throat, leaving a a trail of fire caused by the burning feeling of the drink.. His eyes locked on the fireplace in front of him, listening to the cracking of the wood...
He sighed and stood up, walking closer to the fire... took another long sip from the bottle, before throwing the bottle onto the floor, watching the tiny pieces of the glass shattering on the wooden floor.
This house was supposed to be their safe place where they could've built a family... a family.. with children. But now all of that was lost and gone, forever.
Jade spent the Holidays with Kenzie and Randy, they tried to introduce some young good looking men to her, but she didn't show any interest. It was almost like she became emotionless. She had to do this, to protect herself from further disappointments. It's almost as if she's created a shield around her.
