Students dropout of school all the time. It's an undeniable fact that school can become a suffocating prison for these young teens. Jin Jang understood that much, though there was something strange about the disappearances of J High School. So far there have been three disappearances from this school.

Two that have resulted in empty searches, while the other was a single day that led in suicide. The first to go was a student from the Computer Department, a girl by the name of Eun-su. A quiet girl that seemingly interacted with no one but a deranged girl from the baking department.

Shortly after was the disappearance of Logan Lee. The last person that he was seen with was the Baking Department girl as well. When he asked around there seemed to be some tension going on between the three people. Eun-su was last seen in a tense interaction with Ila. She never returned to her class afterwards and went missing a few days later.

Yet there were no reports out for that night of a missing girl in the Yongsan district. No parents came forward to claim the accident as they did for the disappearance of Jasmine Huh. Then, when he went to investigate it further, the school's system said that she no longer attended J High School. Yet all of her records completely disappeared. Schools are required to keep them for a couple years or transfer them to the other school with the student. Not even hard copies. Almost as if someone had taken them.

With Logan Lee, the system simply had him marked as a dropout. Jin Jang watched his home for a couple days but there was no movement other than his mother who would calmly throw out the trash or go take care of errands. Either her son had become a hermit or she had no reason to worry.

So Jin Jang dressed in something much more casual and took off his piercings to seem like a friend from school. When he asked why Logan hadn't been to school lately she said that her son had gotten the wonderful opportunity to study abroad. A nice lady in a suit came to see her to explain the situation and told her to sign some papers.

Jin Jang congratulated the woman before leaving. Logan Lee earning the opportunity to study abroad? To the normal person this seemed like a miracle. From what he heard Logan Lee was a lazy bastard who didn't do much of anything unless it was the bare minimum or had anything to do with that girl he was hopelessly infatuated with in the Fashion Department.

It's also strange after what he heard at J High School. The rumors said that he never returned to class after being called out by the Baking Department chick. And he highly doubted that she was the one who offered him the opportunity. Especially since others from the Baking Department say she never liked the guy.

One thing that helped him was a small detail Logan Lee's mother told him. The woman that came to visit her wore a small golden feather on her sleeve. After using some logical thinking, he came down to three conclusions.

This had some personal meaning to the woman.

It was a special mark left by the tailor who made the woman's suit. Like a signature.

It represented something or someone.

Two of these conclusions meant that they represented a title of sorts. So he went to the public library and searched up logos or shops with the same branding. It didn't take him long to find the newly renovated area of Jung-gu. At its center, the Bird Garden with all its glory.

Jin Jang already knew of this place. The basics at least. Anyone who knew of the Four Major Crews knew who to be careful around. And they were one of them. Not exactly workers but not exactly weak.
