(Daniel's POV)
"Vasco!"
Damn it! I watched from afar as Vasco took several blows to the back as he shielded the girl. We can't keep doing this! A guy let out a loud grunt as I slammed my body into his. His body went flying as I tried to hold my ground from in front of Jay and Zack.
There's no way I can get to him like this and even if I could, how long could I hold out that crowd? Three guys came rushing at me and I went into a defensive stance. Where do these guys keep coming from! This was more than unfair. These people out numbered us and they had experience in street fighting.
The Burn Knuckles weren't enough. We weren't enough. Eli Jang, that monster...maybe if he wasn't so preoccupied with those kids then...I grabbed the nearest guy then tossed him into the crowd approaching some of the Burn Knuckles closest to me. It caused a ripple effect, as others started to fall; giving space for the Burn Knuckles to breathe for a moment.
Honk! Honk!
I turned around to watch as a food truck was pushed into the yard. My chest fell and rose heavily as I looked at it in confusion. What is happening now? Sh-shit. I'm too tired to think. Instead, I just watched as two guys came to the front of the truck then stared down the Hostel. On top of the food truck was a girl with short light brown hair.
Wh-where are those original Hostel tattoos?
Eli Jang looked up from the ground as the two guys went over. The kids stepped back, watching carefully as they helped him up. Were they friends? As happy as I wanted to be for this reunion, two people weren't enough...we needed way more than that. Unless they were miraculously at Gun's level.
One of the guys was on the larger side and wore a pink apron with a white bandana over his head. The other was on the thinner side with his spiky hair pulled into a high ponytail. Both of them looked out at the crowd surrounding them. It was obvious that Hostel A didn't take them seriously. I also didn't know what to think of them. Not with that entrance or what they were wearing.
Olly took a step forward as they let their hair down, "I...I've been looking all over for you guys. Derek! Max!"
The girl on top of the truck crossed her arms over each other, "I really didn't want to bother them but I had to 'cause of you, Olly Wang."
Both guys looked down to Eli.
"How dare he use little kids." Said spiky hair.
"You got to punish him, daddy." Said the other.
Warren stood beside them as they stood together. And at that moment, I felt a chill run down my spine. Sure, there were only four of them not including the girl, but I could feel their confidence. Eli Jang alone was a force of his own. Standing there together, I knew how much trust they had in each other's abilities and I knew they weren't about to lose this fight. No matter the odds.
The girl smiled, "Anyway, I think they looked down at us, don't you think? On OUR Hostel."
Olly Wang stood in silence as he looked up then smiled at them. He mumbled something and for some reason, I heard pain in his words. I didn't know what he said or why but...could it be possible that there was more to this than I thought there was? I'm not sure what went on between Hostel A and the original Hostel. And I don't really know if I can care about Olly's words, right now, I'm just trying to get my friends out of here safely.
The full formation of the original hostel. But unfortunately...things won't change. Those kids were built as criminals to follow the hand that fed them. They don't know what they're doing, they just follow the master's hand.
