(Jin Jang's Plan: Episode 5)

Jong-su saw himself as a respectable man yet if you were to ask how many people he respected. He'd give you a low number. In his entire existence, from his first life to his second, there have only been 5 people he's respected. For him 5 is more than enough. Perhaps one too many.

The first he's ever respected was his father, his first father. It's not that he was a respectable man in any way. It was the fact that he was the filthiest of filth to ever exist. You see, despite all of his old man's faults, he was a highly intelligent man that made anyone do what he wanted. And he did so in a way that made the person think it was free will.

This led Jong-su to have a terrible life but he also learned a lot. He learned what it took to become successful. Being successful wasn't about effort. It was about luck and the brain. Being smart enough to control the people around you, meant you were smart enough to control your life.

Second, came Charles Choi. When Jong-su first came to know the man's name in Lookism, Jong-su thought to himself - "now that's the man I want to be." A powerful, successful, and strong man. Someone who was in control of themselves and the world around them.

Third, a special inmate in Jinsan prison. A man that reminded him of Worker's First Affiliate President; Gyeoul Baek.

Fourth, was Jin Jang. Jong-su saw the potential that the man could become. He was already calculating but he had long ways to go to become like Jong-su. You see, Jin Jang has had half a lifetime to learn while Jong-su has had 2. Still, he respects the man for the road he's chosen to take and for becoming entertaining to him.

Fifth, was no other than Jong-su himself.

Jong-su just hopes that Jin Jang won't become too boring.

This entire time there has been someone else in the background of this story. Someone that we've overlooked yet was the center of this grand plan. Eli Jang has been busy himself as Daniel went around Seoul searching for answers and as Ila slowly drives herself into something completely unredeemable.

After Daniel confronted Hostel at the Warehouse, the day afterwards, Hostel B paid a little visit to Eli. They had Vasco to thank for telling them where he's been this whole time. Warren, Sally, Max, and Derrick finally met their leader after so long and met Yenna. Eli's three year old daughter.

Of course it wasn't a completely heartfelt reunion. Sally tossed reality into Eli's face. Telling him of what happened since he was gone and what their old friend Olly Wang had gotten himself to. Olly Want in short had become a monster. Taking on the name of Hostel and twisting it into a place of abuse and extortion of younger kids.

But what could Eli do? Like Jin Jang has said during his analysis, he was a father now. Becoming a father has its strengths but one thing for certain, is that now you have something precious to lose. If something were to happen to him then who would look after Yenna. He couldn't do that after what happened to her mother and how things were left between them. Not to mention, Hostel meant family. And his family was hurting right now.

So he has to decide if he's going to choose one family for another or find a way to protect both of them and put himself in danger.

What will it be, Eli Jang?
