- December 20th 1978 -

Y/N's POV

It was now the 20th of December. We have been back in Scotland and we have decorated for Christmas. It is Christmas in 5 days which is kind of weird to think about. Me and Alan have been together for quite a few years now for the holidays. I think it is interesting to think about how different the holidays have been every single year.

"What do we want to do my love?" Alan asked as he pulled me over to him on the couch.

I looked at him and smiled.

"I don't know my love. I am kind of interested in anything right now since I am bored," I said with a bit of a chuckle.

"Well we could go into the kitchen and make some holiday cookies. I think it could be fun," he said.

"That does sound like it could be fun," I said.

"Then let's?" he asked as he smiled.

"Yes, my love," I said.

He pecked my lips and we both got off the couch.

"Hang on," I said as I looked at him.

"Yes, my love?" he asked as he turned to look at me.

I kissed him and then walked into the kitchen.

"You little sneak," he said as he followed me into the kitchen.

"What kind of cookies are we planning on making?" I asked.

"I don't know anything you would like to make. You are the one who is better at the cookies recipes," he said.

"And I think you are. But we could make sugar cookies if you would like?" I asked.

"And we could make some frosting to go with them," he said.

"Sounds like a good plan to me," I said with a smile.

We soon pulled all of the things we needed to make the cookies out.

"I think this is going to be fun," he said.

"Oh wait," I said as I went and put on the radio.

"Good thinking. It is a lot more fun to have some music going on in the background," he said.

"Yeah," I said as I walked back into the kitchen.

"Do you think it is loud enough?" he asked.

"I thought so," I said.

"Yeah," he said.

"So should we get started?" I asked.

"I think so," he replied.

We soon made up a cookie dough.

"This looks so yummy," I said as I tried a little bit of it.

"Is it?" he asked as he tried some of it as well.

"I think so," I said.

"It is perfect," he replied with a smile.

"Why are you so smiley all of a sudden?" I asked.

"You make me all smiles," he said.

"Are you sure about that?" I asked.

"Yes," he replied.

"Well I think we should make these into cookies now and get them in the oven," I said.

We made them into cookies and got them into the oven.

"Now they bake for a bit of time and we can work on the frosting," he said.

"And that is something you are way better at than me when it comes to making it," I said.

"It is simple my love," he said.

He went about doing his thing and making frosting.

"That looks good," I said as I stole some of his frosting.

"Why do you like to steal some of everything you are wanting to try?" he asked with a chuckle.

"Cause I can and I think I should be able to," I said.

"Oh of course you think you should be able to," he replied.

"Well then," I said.

"How long have the cookies been in the oven for?" he asked.

"I think we should be able to take them out now," I said.

We soon pulled them out of the oven.

"Do we want to frost them right away or let them cool?" he asked.

"I think we should let them cool off for some time," I said.

"Alright. Then do we want to go into the living room and just sit for a bit of time?" he asked.

"That is what we were doing before we came in here," I said.

Soon there was a knock on the front door.

"Oh I wonder who that can be," he said.

We went and opened the door and we see it was Les at the door.

"Oh hey Les," Alan said.

"Hey guys. Are you guys busy?" Les asked.

"Well we just pulled some cookies out of the oven. So we are kind of just waiting for them to cool off right now," I said.

"Well can I come in?" Les asked.

"Oh of course," Alan said as he let him in.

"Hey Les. How are you doing?" I asked.

"Doing good and yourself?" Les asked.

Alan shut the door and we all sat down on the couch together.

"Well we are doing good. I think it is nice to be back in the groove of things since being back home since the whole tour," I said.

"Well it is good to know you guys are doing good. It does smell real good in here. Alan said you guys just made cookies?" Les asked.

"Yeah, and they are cooling off right now. We are going to frost them here soon," I said.

"You guys are going to have to let me have one," Les said.

"Of course. You are going to be able to have one," I said.

"Good. You guys make some of the best cookies," Les said.

"What are the boys up to right now?" Alan asked.

"Oh they are just messing around back at the house. I came by because I was quite bored over there," Les said.

"Oh so they are doing boring things?" I asked with a chuckle.

"Things I do not find to be interesting so kind of yes," Les said.

"Interesting," Alan said.

"How long have the cookies been cooling off?" Les asked.

"Oh well not very long. We just pulled them out a couple of minutes ago," I said.

"Alright then," Les said.

"Well what are you planning on doing after this?" I asked.

"I don't know to be honest. I was hoping to hang out with you guys for a bit of time," Les said.

"You can stay here as long as you would like to," Alan said.

"I think it is nice being able to come here and enjoy company with you guys," Les said.

"I think it is nice you like to come over and hang out with us," I said.

"Well you guys are interesting so," Les said with a chuckle.

"Thanks," Alan said with a chuckle.

To another day with these two crazy boys. This time holiday edition.
