Y/N's POV

It was now three days until Christmas. We had a couple of things we wanted to do since we would be hosting the dinner. I think it is going to be a lot of fun since we are going to be the ones in charge of the holiday. We were heading off to the store now to get some food items.

"I think it is good we have the turkey already but I think we need to get a couple of other things to add for the sides," I said.

"I think so too," Alan said as he drove.

We were in the car on the way to the store.

"I always wonder how many years we will be the ones who are hosting this. I do find it to be nice for us to be the ones who are in charge," I said with a smile.

"I know the boys are going to bring a couple of things over. I know my parents are coming as well," he said.

"Mine will not be but it is going to be nice to see your parents," I said.

Soon we arrived at the store and we headed inside.

"We do not need much since the boys are bringing over a pie. They do make one heck of a pie," Alan said with a chuckle.

"I have to agree with you," I said.

We got a cart.

"I think we should get some stuff to make a good batch of tea to go with the dinner. I think they have our favorite tea at this place," Alan said.

"Well it is our go to store so it should," I said.

We soon got a couple of things we needed for tea. We also picked up a couple of other things we wanted to get for the dinner.

"I don't think we need much else?" I asked.

"I think this is everything on the list," Alan said as he looked at the list.

"Yeah?" I asked.

"Yes," he replied with a smile.

"Alright, we should head for the check out now," I said.

"Sounds good," he said.

We got checked out and loaded up the car.

"Is there any place you want to go to before we head on home?" Alan asked as he looked at me.

"Oh we need to go pick up some food for the horses and dogs," I said.

"Oh yes we do," Alan said.

"And then we should be good to go home. I think it is going to be one of those busy days," I said with a chuckle.

"You aren't thinking about cleaning the house are you?" he asked.

"Of course I am. I think it is good if I am to get it done now so I will not have to worry about it tomorrow," I said.

"I suppose that is true. But do not overdo it today, alright?" he commented.

"I know. Let's just go get the food for the animals and head home," I said.

We ended up picking up the food for the dogs and horses. We then headed home.

"Home we are," Alan said as he parked.

We got out and brought everything inside that would be here. We would bring the dogs and horses food over to the farm a little bit later.

"Are you going to want to come with me to bring the food or do you want me to run over there and take like Derek?" Alan asked.

We were putting up the stuff in the kitchen.

"I don't care my love. It is whatever you would like to do," I said.

"Well if you are going to be cleaning the house I will see if Derek wants to come with me down to the farm," Alan said.

"Okay my love," I said as I kissed his cheek.

"Do you want me to see if one of the guys wants to come over here and keep you company?" Alan asked.

"If you want to," I said.

"I think Les or Woody might want to come hang out with you. Maybe even help with some of the cleaning," Alan said.

"Both are very helpful so if you want to or they want to come over then it will be fine," I said.

"I don't know you are so chill when it comes to everything," Alan said as he looked at me.

We finished up in the kitchen.

"I just am," I said as I looked back at him.

"Come here?" he asked.

I walked over to him and he kissed me. I returned the kiss and smiled.

"I should get over to the farm with the food and hopefully Derek," Alan said with a chuckle.

"Alright," I said with a bit of a smile.

"Well I will see you in a little bit baby," Alan said.

"Alright be safe my love. I love you," I said.

"I love you too," Alan said.

Soon Alan left the house and picked up Derek. Woody is the one who ended up coming over.

Woody walked in the house.

"Y/N!" Woody said.

"Hi Woody. How are you?" I asked.

"I am doing good. And how are you doing?" Woody asked.

I was in the middle of cleaning up the living room.

"I am doing good. I am just working on cleaning up the house," I said.

"I heard you could use some help?" he asked.

"If you want to you can help me. But you do not have to," I said.

"No, I would like to. What do you think I could do?" Woody asked.

"If you want to help me clean up the kitchen?" I asked.

"Sounds good. That is one of the things I am good at," he said with a chuckle.

"Thanks Woody. I appreciate you," I said.

"Of course," Woody said as he went into the kitchen.

"What have you been up to lately?" I asked.

"Just been hanging out at the house," he said.

"Oh nice. I think hanging out is a nice thing to do when there is nothing else to do," I said with a bit of a chuckle.

"And you know what I think is nice?" he asked.

"Hm?" I asked.

"How you and Alan are able to keep up with the farm you guys have like you do," he said.

"Well it takes time and patience but it is normal for us," I said.

"I would like to be able to have the time to do something like that. Me and Eric have been talking about having a farm of our own but we have not gotten around to it," Woody said.

"Well it would be nice if you guys would want to. And me and Alan could give you some pointers on how to begin," I said.

"I think that would be nice. I would have to talk about it with Eric more but it might be something to do," he said.

"Yeah, I think so too," I said.

Here was to cleaning up the house with help from Woody. Alan would soon be back perhaps with Derek.
