If you play with fire.. you get burned

Chapter 109

Ever since the twins received the book with some suggestions for games to play with their little sister, Mila and Marcus had forgotten about their unused magic books. One afternoon, however, while Andy was breastfeeding little Massiel, the twins asked their dad if they could use those books.

Robert: "Of course you can use them" he replied, smiling. "Do you want to stay in the living room or outside in the garden?"

Mila: "In the pool. You also have to inflate those things where we put the book so it floats"

Robert: "Okay, but first we have to put on our swimsuits"

Marcus: "Do we have to?" Robert nodded. "Why do we have to wear them when Grandpa and Grandma can swim in the pool without them?" Robert was almost shocked by what he had just heard.

Robert: "And where did this come from?"

Marcus: "One day we heard grandma Elena say that, even though she was speaking very softly"

Robert: "Well.. Grandma was definitely joking, and you must have misheard"

Marcus: "Oh, no, no, dad, I can hear perfectly well"

Robert: "I understand" he replied, muttering.

Marcus: "Dad?" Robert turned to him. "I heard you" Robert laughed a little.

Robert: "I know" he replied, laughing again. "But don't worry about it now, let's go upstairs and I'll help you put on your swimsuits" he said, also referring to Mila.

Mila: "Let's go quickly, I want to color in my magic book and take lots of dives in the pool" Robert smiled.

While Mila held her father's hand to go upstairs, Marcus ran upstairs with Robert, who kept telling him to be careful. As soon as Robert finished helping his children put on their swimsuits, he quickly changed too and then joined them in the living room so he could inflate the two small inflatable pillows where the children could put their books, even though Robert was very sure they wouldn't use them because their used inflatables from the previous days were still in the pool. After Robert grabbed all the children's things and the two small inflated pillows, they went out into the garden, and after Robert dived into the pool, the children dove in and joined their dad. Robert then placed the children's books and the two special paintbrushes on the large inflatables, where the twins then climbed in and began using their new magical books.

Mila: "Oh, wow, that book is really magical" she said as the book colored wherever she passed the wet brush. "Dad, look" she said, splashing her father so that he came closer to her. "Do you like it?"

Robert: "It's really nice" he replied, smiling. "Are there sea animals in this book?" Mila nodded.

Mila: "Yes, and this is my favorite" she said, pointing to the dolphin. "Marcus, on the other hand, only has dinosaurs in his book"

Marcus: "And I like them all" he replied with a big smile. "But can I color the shark in your book? I really like those"

Mila: "If you come on my giant crown, yes" she said, patting the large inflatable crown, and Robert helped his son reach his sister.

Marcus: "Thank you"

While the three of them were peacefully relaxing in the pool, Andy had just put little Massiel to sleep, and seeing her family through the window, she decided to join them. Before going out into the garden, however, she also changed into her swimsuit, and as soon as she reached the pool, she dove in, joining her husband and their twins.

Marcus: "If you're here, where's our little sister?"

Andy: "She's sleeping"

Marcus: "So you can stay here with us now?"
