051. A TIME WITH FAMILY

Chapter fifty one

"A time with family."

The next morning, Athena woke up and as she did, she brought her hands up to her lips, closing her eyes she remembered what happened last night, still feeling Stefan's lips on her, she brought her hand down and remembered how his lips felt on her neck, where just the thought of it made her skin feel like it was on fire, but then she brought her hand down and sighed, remembering how all of it meant nothing, because he didn't care, taking the blanket off of her, she got out of bed and walked on the floor, and to her bedroom door, opening it, she walked down the hallway and to her sister's room.

Knocking on the door, Caroline opened it and as she did, she looked at Athena "help me." Athena told her, as Caroline smiled at her, she grabbed her hand and pulled her in, as she shut the door behind her.

Caroline had undone Athena's corset, helping her out of her dress, she then got dressed in her regular clothes and took her hair out of the bun that it was in and as she did, she walked out of her room, she held the ends of her hair, remembering that they were now purple, as her dad came out of the kitchen holding a dish rag "you wanna come with me?" he asked her, as Athena dropped her hair and looked at him "where?" she asked him "the grill. My brother Kol told me that he like to take us out after his body fell at your feet last night." her dad shared.

As Athena nodded "well, I should've warned you festivities like that don't normally end well in mystic falls." she shared, as her dad chuckled, tossing the dish towel down "come on." he told her, heading toward's the door, he stopped and turned to her "you have your sword, right?" he asked her, as Athena pulled it out of her pocket, her dad nodded as he turned back around, Athena raised her brows "are we going out to eat or going to slay creatures?" she asked "hopefully just be able to eat but from what I've seen in my few days in this town one can never be to careful." her dad shared, opening the front door, he held it open, as Athena walked out, he followed behind her, shutting the door.

Having gone to the grill, the two walked in and as they did Kol wasn't there alone but also with Klaus as the two were at the bar "you invited the beast?" her dad asked, as Kol and Klaus looked to them "says the one who's killed as many people as I have maybe even more." Klaus shared "they weren't people." her dad told him, as Kol smiled at Athena "speaking of which, you don't quite seem like the girl to be frightened by a body dropping." he shared, as Athena smiled at him "I was just taken by surprise that's all, I was talking with my mother about something very personal when it happened." she shared.

"You mean Stefan, which from what I recall from the whispers I heard is another thing that my brother Klaus here ruined." Kol shared, looking to him, Klaus turned from her dad and glared at him "you invited me here to throw me under the bus or to have a drink?" he asked, as Kol turned back to the bartender to order them one and as he did, her dad huffed "you aren't even the teenager Niklaus and between the two that stand between me your the only one who's acting like one." he shared, and as he did, Kol started laughing "oh, this is getting fun!" he voiced, as Athena smiled.

Later on, Athena was watching as both her dad, Klaus and Kol were all drink, as she stirred the straw in her drink "I remember here from last night. She looks like a tasty little thing." Kol shared, as Athena and her dad turned their attention, they saw Caroline walk in, in which Athena grimaced "ew, she's my sister." she shared "which makes her your cousin, your both disgusting." her dad shared "oh, come on, we come from the day and age where everyone was sleeping with some sort of relative." Kol shared "say another word and I cut out your tongue." her dad threatened him, as Kol nodded.

Caroline walked up to them "Caroline." Klaus told her, as Caroline turned to them "oh. It's you." she shared, looking to her right though she saw her dad and sister, having not been told they were here "join us for a drink?" Klaus asked her "I let you dance with her, do anything else and I will cut off your hands." her dad shared "what he said." Caroline told him, as she turned around walking away "I wouldn't hurt her." Klaus told her dad "well, seeing as she's choosing to walk away from you and listening to me, I take that as a win." her dad shared.
