Chapter one hundred and thirty one

"The Van Helsings."

It was night, as Athena was lying in her cell in the Salvatore boarding house, the door opened and as it did someone walked in and quickly walked up to her unchaining her, they picked her up in their arms and began carrying her out of there, and through the boarding out and back out the front door, as he walked around the SUV, opening the passenger side door and putting her in the seat, he shut the door, as he walked around the to the drivers side, getting in, the man leaned over to her, moving a piece of hair out of her face, it was Enzo "we've got a long drive ahead of us." he told her, as he leaned away from her, putting the car in drive, he began heading off.

It was morning now, as the sun was shining, Enzo was still driving, as Athena furrowed her brows seeing sun shining in her eyes as she began to wake up, she jolted awake, as she turned looking at Enzo with wide eyes "let me guess? Your gonna ask who I am and why did you rescue me from that dungeon that one of the people you hated most in the world had locked you in to where you were just doing what he says because you know that was the only way you'd ever be allowed out of it?" Enzo asked, reaching his hand into the backseat, he grabbed the fast food bag and handed it to her.

Athena took it and opened it, quickly grabbing the burger and biting into it, she sighed "he's been starving you. Guess that's the one to keep someone angry but compliant." Enzo shared "who are you?" Athena asked him "I'm Lorenzo. I'm the man who knows where your kids are. Mrs Van Helsing." Enzo told her, looking to her, Athena looked at him "and where exactly is that?" she asked him, as Enzo smiled, he looked back at the road, as they passed a sign welcoming them to Ohio.

Meanwhile, in mystic falls, Valerie had walked into Julian's bar, finding him shooting an apple off one of his guys heads "bulls eye!" Julian voiced, as the crowd cheered "and for your courage, my bold friend, how would you like to make your new home at 224 Harmony Lane? Mr and Mrs Leonard here have been called back to town so that they might invite you in. Who's next?" Julian asked "I'll give it a go." Valerie told him, as Julian turned to her "isn't this cozy? How nice it must feel to be surrounded by degenerate yes men. How safe it must seem." Valerie shared.

"Valerie, I'm struggling to comprehend you showing your face within two hundred miles of me." Julian told her, as Valerie stuck her hand in her pocket "I really wanted to give you something that was delivered to me by mistake." she shared, holding the postcard out to him, Julian took it and looked at the x on the card and when he did, his mind began to reel as the women who could send these was locked in his basement "now a women who you killed, is once again coming after you. Wherever she may be." Valerie shared, as Julian looked up at her with wide eyes.

Which was what Bonnie and Nora were trying to figure out as they were doing a locator spell, holding onto the sword to make the blood on the map lead them to where the slayer might be, as the candles lit up around them "phesmatos invenira venatrixos isto gladulla onyx. Phesmato invenira venatrixos isto gladulla onyx." they chanted, as the spell stopped "Ohio? Are you sure this isn't a prank or something?" Bonnie asked, turning around and standing up "it's not a prank. A ruthless killing machine is on her way to hunt us all down." Nora shared, as Bonnie put the sword in the hole in the wall to hide it "but why announce herself first with a cryptic postcard? Isn't the element of surprise a basic principle of good vampire hunting?" she asked.

"Not for Athena Van Helsing. She has a taste for taunting her victims. Like a cat nibbling the legs off a spider." Mary Louise shared, as she stood in the doorway, Nora stood up and turned to her "what are you doing here?' she asked, as Mary Louise walked toward's her, showing the same post card "you got one, too." Nora said, taking it and handing it to Bonnie "and what about Julian? No. But I said we'd take care of the problem. For all our sakes." Mary Louise shared "wait. Athena as in our Athena who's been missing since Julian shoved a sword through her child and her's chest?" Bonnie questioned.
