Chapter five hundred and fifty two

"The life we had together was destroyed."

Having left Bonnie and Enzo, while Stefan was unconscious Athena had zip tied his hands and put him in the passenger, Annabeth and Jace sat in the back both with their hands in their pockets where their swords were while Athena was driving down the road, Stefan began to wake up and as he did, his mind was being flooded with every bad thing he did, where the highlights of those moments happened to be when he fed on Athena until she was dead and when he stabbed Annabeth in the heart trying to kill her and turn her into a vampire followed by the women he forced Damon to kill and then all the people in the hospital.

Where as he finally focused he noticed his hands were tied up and that he was now in a car, as he turned looking at the drivers seat he saw Athena who must've felt his eyes on her as she turned and looked at him but didn't say anything as she looked back at the road and he knew fully well why, the zip ties and him being in this car wasn't because she wanted him to be okay but because she knew he wouldn't be able to face her and she wasn't gonna let him run and hide after everything he had done.

Where the car started ringing, as Jace and Annabeth noticed Damon's name come on the screen "this should be good." Jace said, as Athena answered it "what do you want?" she asked him "Bonnie told me what you did." Damon told her "well he's still alive so give me credit here." Athena told him "are you coming back?" Damon asked her "no. Plan A was me locking him in the cell. Plan B was if he escaped and I had track him down and kill him where thanks to your glorious tidbit of Cade and his epic jailbreak both of those things happened at the same place. So now were at plan C which is when I got to the police station and show him all the people he's killed. Which they already know I'm coming so don't be worried I will be the one doing it so he won't actually be arrested for being a serial killer and put in prison." Athena shared.

"Okay. That's good. I mean you know the memories of every drop of blood he's ever spilled are gonna be doing a square dance in his head. It's best he's not alone with all this right now. I'll meet you there." Damon shared "no, I really don't want you to meet me.' Athena shared "Athena, your not thinking straight." Damon told her, as Athena hung up on him, and continued to drive.

Making it to the police station, Athena pretending to be a cop got in pretty well, as Jace and Annabeth were waiting in the main room, Athena had a stack of files in her hand as she walked into the room Stefan was in, as his hands were now chained to the table "Olivia Hayden, remember her?" Athena asked, walking up to the table, she slammed the files down and sat across from him, she opened up Olivia's file "she was a waitress. Working her way through college." she shared, holding up the picture of her body and showing it to him, Stefan looked at it.

"At least she was until you went all ripper on her and almost took her head off." Athena dded on, putting the picture in front of him, she then turned and grabbed the next file "now we have Javier Ruiz. Who worked as a pharmacist, had a wife and a kid on the way who thanks to you will never know they're father." she shared, humming, and looking at him "I've been there." she shared, putting the picture down in front of him, Stefan looked at the picture of the man, as Athena turned grabbing the next one "Kelly Parks." she said, putting her picture down in front of him.

She then grabbed the next one "Robert Lansu." she said, putting his picture in front of him "Tanya Handelman." she said, putting her picture down "Jeffery Li." she said, putting his picture down, she scoffed "and for your information that barely even half of the thirty two or at least the thirty two of whom the police have found." she shared, and Stefan just kept looking at the pictures not even at her, as Athena slammed her hands on the table "look at me!" she yelled, but Stefan wouldn't even look at her, as Athena stood up and walked out, knowing he didn't get to shut her out again, not this time.
