133. HOW MANY TIMES CAN YOU DIE

Chapter one hundred and thirty three

"How many times can you die."

Having walked all night, Annabeth had fallen asleep in Athena's arms, but Athena and Rayna had stayed awake, making it all the way back to mystic falls, Annabeth was walking on her own again, as three were walking through a town development, they heard the sound of a gunshot, as they walked in that direction, the the three found two humans trying to take down five vampires, as they all took their guns off of them, they took aim, where Rayna shot the two on the left while Athena shot the one in the middle while Annabeth shot the two on the right, all with buck shot so there was no chance they would survive.

"You saved our lives." the women said, as Athena smirked "it's what I do." she said, looking to Matt "hey, Matt. How about you tell me where more of these idiots might be?" she asked, as Matt looked at Rayna then Athena then Annabeth.

Where Matt had then taken the three of them to the grill, as one vampire was sitting in front of them, Athena stood in front of him while Rayna and Annabeth stood behind her along with Matt and his girlfriend "you know, I may not remember most things but I do remember how like every other vampire I've hunted you lot came into my town and took it over. The thing my friends back there are missing as that they're trying to trap all of you but your not the kind of animal you wanna bring home and eat, your the kind that you find in the woods and kill on sight. You just happen to be an exception but now.." Athena shared, shoving her hand in his chest and ripped his heart out, the vampire's body fell to the floor, she dropped his heart.

Where her, Annabeth and Rayna then sensed a vampire behind them, as the three turned around, looking at Damon "hello, Damon." Athena told him, as Damon smirked walking down to her "I used to recall something you used to tell me. How you don't fall into traps? Yet, you just happened to fall into the biggest one of them all." he shared "what?" Athena asked, as Matt then shot Rayna, Athena and then Annabeth in the heart, as the three fell over, Damon sped toward's Athena grabbing her sword, as their bodies fell to the floor, Matt's girlfriend ran over to them, checking their pulses and seeing that they were dead, she turned to Matt "what the hell did you do?" she asked him.

"It's okay. Damon's a.." Matt said "aw, you almost said, friend. How sweet." Damon said "his brother is a friend. And that's the only reason I'm helping him." Matt shared "and the world yawned. Get rid of this thing." Damon told him, holding the sword out to him, Matt took it "anything else?" Matt asked "yeah. You know where I can find the Lockwood well?" Damon asked him, smirking.

Damon was then sitting outside of a well, as all of Athena, Annabeth and Rayna's weapons were outside of it, down below, in the water, the three had come back to life as they swam out from underneath the water "mommy!" Annabeth voiced "it's okay. It's okay." Athena told her "mom!" Rayna voiced, as Athena looked to her "it's okay!" she voiced "speaking of okay. I'm in a bit of a pickle here, Athena. I got big plans." Damon shared "then why waste your time with us?" Athena asked him "because I can't go on vacation until I do something about you. See, I can't relax and sip mai tai's while you're out hunting my brother. And every time I kill you, your one daughter phoenix's back to life while you and your other daughter resurrect." Damon shared, sighing "it's a dill." he said.

"Well, newsflash I wasn't even going after your brother seeing as last time I did, he lead me to a hybrid who had brutally murdered me many times and when he tried to kill my daughter, I decided your brother wasn't worth her dying." Athena shared, as Damon hummed "family still matters to you." he said, getting up and walking over, looking into the well "so how about you and I put our heads together and come up with a plan B?" he asked "you want me to work with you? My entire existence is to kill and nothing else." Athena shared, as Damon's eyes went wide "yeah..thought so." he said, looking away from her.
